The only minor point is that the house, being big and made of wood, gets noisy. You will absolutely hear children yelling across the entire house. However, around 21:30 seems to be lights out, and afterwards it's very quiet.

The owners are very nice. Kerstin is attentive and friendly. The breakfast is great and once they know your preferences they'll stuff you. They also encourage you to take what you don't eat with you for your day trip. PS one of the windows has a mosquito net. That's the one you should open if you're warm. You will get eaten alive if you open the netless window.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place truly deserves it. The property was extremely clean and well taken care of. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. The hosts were some of the nicest people and extremely accommodating. If I ever come back to Mittersill I would 100% stay here again.

Me na my husband really enjoyed the stay in this apartment. This accommodation is located in very calm and quiet place, with amazing views from the room. Breakfast was delicious as well and absolutely great for hiking in the mountains. The host was very nice so we felt pleasant and welcomed. I also liked to possibility to make a latte macchiato whenever I wanted and drink it on the balcony. I would definitely recommend this farm.

Noticed in some of the reviews that someone called this hotel a 5-star one - totally agree! This family hotel is perfect in everything: 1) the location - up in the mountains, no other buildings in the neighborhood, quiet 2) the view: don’t worry to get the room with better or worse view - each side of the hotel has a great view 3) the hosts: we felt like visiting our family 4) the breakfast - fresh local food, the host told us we are free to make some sandwiches for take away after breakfast, that was really nice 5) the nature around: the air in the morning is very fresh, during the day it has some slight smell of cowshed - but believe me, that suits the atmosphere so good!

Nothing. It was perfect

We enjoyed very much staying at Vordergugg owned by a lovely young couple. We received a beautiful spacious room. clean, contemporary furnished in Scandinavian style. We learned from the owner that all the excellent carpentry was done by him. From the terrace and the balcony there is a stunning view of the valley and of the mountain on the other side. The place and the view instill beauty, calmness and peace for those who are looking for it. The breakfast is rich and delicious. The lovely owner of the place Kerstin took care of our every request. The location is close by to some of the main attractions in the area.
