Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsProperty was great, nothing negative to say about it. Lady at the reception was rude and condescending and she deliberately sent us to the wrong room. Not sure what we did for her to feel we deserved to be treated like that.
Great layout, inviting in spite of the large size. Great gaming area for kids. Great ramps for bikes inside the hotel. Breakfast was great, lots of variety, food freshly made.

GermanyNo recycling bins and the heating is set too high - not a great friend to the environment, this hotel. The room has a bit of a weird layout in that you walk through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. And each room has it's own lobby area, but the door is see-through, so everyone can see you when you're in it.
Food was very good. Buffet for breakfast and dinner which should cover most tastes. A good selection for lunch is available too. Bed was wonderfully comfortable. Staff are friendly and accommodating - not just with the customers, but with each other, which is nice to see.

United StatesThe bed was on the hard side. We booked a Mountain View room but got the backside of the hotel facing a rock wall and trees. The “Mountain View” we got was minimal and you had to literally look out the open window to see it.
we loved the unique design of the room. It has a hip vibe throughout the hotel.

GermanyThe rooms are somewhat small-even for European standards, but the immediate area to hang/keep ski gear was the reason for the lack of room space. Most of the staff was friendly, but a few of them seemed bothered/stressed by work, but nothing too off-putting. The young ladies who worked the breakfast and dinner buffets, and many of the cooks for the buffets were friendly and always took time to speak to myself and other guests.
The hotel was conveniently located near the slopes, ski school, rental center and lift. Also, the hotel even had a convenient place to store ski equipment. The breakfast was pretty reasonable and plentiful. The hotel had varying dinners each night so this was also refreshing. There was a pool and game room for for children. I enjoyed hearing the children running around having a good time-definitely family friendly. Another plus was the free parking!

BelgiumWell, how to start? Maybe I'm biased, but to give my personal opinion: this is a concept-hotel that suits more in a James Bond movie. This is not the traditional, romantic Austrian hotel. No, this is ultra modern with a minimalistic approach. The inner square of the hotel gives you more a feeling of a shopping mall. The rooms are super compact, the bathroom furniture is very small and the bathroom itself is actually part of the sleeping-room (except for the shower) so when you took a shower, the only privacy you have to dry yourself is a wall that stands between you and the rest of the sleeping room. The entrance of your room is partly transparent and consists of a kind of dressing room where you have to leave and unpack your luggage. So when walking through the hall, you can see in each room the private stuff of the guests (shoes, pants, etc). Since we were travelling to Italy, we took this hotel as a transit hotel for just one night and I didn't took a look at all to the reviews and pictures. Besides, there was not much other available accomodation for that day so we took the room here. Again, some other people might love it because of their very nice swimming pool and sauna and other infrastructure, but for us, romantics, this was an odd hotel.
The staff is very friendly, the view on the mountains is nice. Nice breakfast. The location is close to the fernpass. That's all I can say.

United StatesAfter the swimming pool closed for the evening at 2200 hours .... there were people running down the walkway in front of my room until 2245 hours ... I know this is a parenting issue, and they are the ones that needed counseling ... if the hotel were to mandate a quiet time from 2200 hours until 0600 hours when the pool reopens, that might solve this problem.
The views.

United StatesThe hotel room door and wall are see through. You can see into the hallway which functions as a mud room. However the lack of privacy is off putting. The walls are extremely thin so you can hear every word that’s spoken next door. In addition you need to leave the window open that has no Moskito net to keep the room comfortable due to lack of AC. That would all be fine but the town had festivities going until 5am. No sleep to be had for anyone. Also don’t trust you get breakfast included. Even though the hotel advertises breakfast on every rate when I checked in they told me I didn’t book it. That’s plausible however you can see that it’s not possible to book a room without it because every rate on booking.com has it included. All in all a subpar experience in a subpar hotel.
The property had some interesting design features.
