Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe apt was advertised as two bedrooms but in reality it's one bedroom and a bed in a sectioned off part of the main living area.
Convenient to all activities in Innsbruck.

AustraliaThe big problem was NO air-conditioning for the 3 nights, extremely hot in the room. The owners placed a small portable Air conditioner in the room but if failed to cool the room. At least they tried to address the issue. With each day above 30Degrees celcius an air con was required.
The room was excellent. The room was relatively new and it had a lift to all floors-a big help! Great location easy to get to. People on reception to meet us.

United StatesThe apartment does not have air conditioning. It was warm while we were there and in spite of leaving all the windows open it was somewhat too warm for comfortable sleeping.
The location is possibly the best in Innsbruck. In the heart of the Altstadt, but the apartment (#8) was incredibly quiet in the evening. The terrace is an added benefit that provides an outdoor space with incredible views of the Nordkette.

FranceNothing really. You just need to be aware that no cars are allowed into the old part of the city, but the nearest car park was only 5 minutes walk.
The location was great right in the heart of the old part of the city. The keys were easily available at the bar of the restaurant. The apartment was very comfortable and very quiet.

CyprusIts very noisy during the night and early morning because it is located right in the city center.
The location is excellent, right in the city centre. However very noisy, especially if windows need to be open during the hot days of summer. The room offers basic amenities and overall a comfortable and clean appartment.

United KingdomIt was very warm during our stay but the property did not have air conditioning. There was a fan but it was noisy and the did not circulate as the mechanism for this was broken. Also, one fan does not serve two sleeping areas.
The property is modern and clean, and the views from the windows are spectacular. I really believe they have the best view in Innsbruck.

SwitzerlandUnfortunately, there were several things I was disappointed by. Firstly, although the apartment is advertised as a two bedroom apartment, it really is more like a studio apartment with a giant closet. There was a bed in the main room (along with the living area and kitchen) and a bed in the large closet. Perhaps I should have read the description more carefully, but it did not meet my standard definition of a two bedroom apartment. We were three friends sharing the flat, but there really was not enough privacy. The bathroom door was just a large glass sliding door. It's great for a family. Secondly, the apartment is very stuffy. I can see it being a great winter apartment, but for the summer, one requires a fan to sleep. (A/C should not be necessary given the climate in this part of the world.) Unfortunately, they could only provide one fan (which went to the one sleeping in the "closet" room) and since it was not able to rotate (as it was broken), it was also a bit disappointing. Those of us sleeping in the main room would open the window in the middle of the night for some fresh air after the noise in the streets died down. Thirdly, do not leave food out in the kitchen. We left fruit out the first afternoon, left the flat, and came back to find it covered in ants. However, after we cleaned up we never saw another ant in the flat. Finally, the shower head was broken. Water came out of it, but also the neck below it. We tried to fix this but it was not possible.
The location of this apartment is fantastic - if you want to be in the heart of Innsbruck. It is steps away from one of the main sites and in the heart of one of the main streets. The apartment was clean overall and generally met our expectations. The bathroom was clean and functioned well overall. The apartment was located in a historic building, which is always a unique experience. I truly believe that with a few minor tweaks this can be a 10/10 stay.

United StatesNo A/C and stuffy, but when you open the windows there is excessive noise from north construction and the pedestrian traffic, street “musicians”, etc. There were drunk people yelling until 3am. The construction was all day long, even on Saturday, and wet sawing of pavement stones!
The location is perfect from the perspective of being by everything in the Innerstrasse.

The apartment was spacious and very centrally located. The kitchen was well equipped and also had a Nespresso machine (but a few pods would have been nice). The patio had amazing views of the Alps. Large washroom.

United StatesAccess to laundry facility in the building would be good. The second guest room is a bit of a large closet so you don't want to close the door if you are claustrophobic. But it was comfortable and cozy.
Nice, clean, and spacious studio apartment. Location was centrally located. It was a 15 minutes walk from the main train station. Nice and comfortable beds. One of the better dishwashers. A cute little breakfast nook.
