Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Czech RepublicI strongly recommend this hotel. There were four of us, and we all had an amazing experience during our short stay at Hotel An Der Wien. From the moment of our arrival, we were met with kindness, understanding, and exquisite hospitality. We had a long flight, came to Vienna quite early in the morning, and we were thoroughly exhausted. The lady at the reception was so kind to let us have an early check-in. And the lady in the restaurant went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The location is great as well, just a short walk to the metro. The breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from. Thank you very much for everything!

Lady at the reception very kind and surprised me how helpful she was. Quality she answered all our questions, arranged for us free parking around the hotel, explained the best way howto see most of city center in a couple of hours by walk. Hotel is a bit far from downtown but in a very strategic place, without changing metro (which is located 200 m far from the hotel) in 20 min we were at the Opera House , Karlplatz station. We walked down till the university and than back to the Karlplatz, through the St.Platz.

Czech RepublicIdeal location at the metro terminal only 20 min to the center and only 3 min walk to the hotel. Breakfast and parking included in the price. Even though we overlooked the railways, there was no noise. I would definetly stay here again.

LebanonA little bit far from the city center but it's not a problem since it's located directly near the U transport aka metro station in Hütteldorf (barely 2min walk), all you have to do to reach the city center is to take u4 line then switch in karlsplatz station to u1 line and head to Stephensplatz station (main center), the duration of the trip 1 way is around 20 mins, so it is easily accessed Old style hotel but we enjoyed it
The exceptional staff displayed remarkable service by accompanying us with a breakfast box to the taxi on the day of our early departure (2 amazing ladies). Additionally, the rooms offered ample space and comfort. The breakfast is among the best in Vienna (various and delicious)

Not too fancy but tasteful old fashion hotel. Very clean, and confortabile. Very good breakfast included. The staff are mostly late middle aged ladies, very lovely, helpful and efficient. Always with a smile, they make you feel very welcome. They have a parking in the yard, but you can also park on the street for a fair fare. Close to the underground train U4 which brings you directly to the city center. On walking distance you can find some restaurants for dinner. We chose Francesco, a very good italian restaurant at 10 minutes walking from the hotel.
