Location was perfect! Hotel is a few steps from public transport (only 15 minutes by underground to convention center) and in the other direction, 5 minute walk to the cathedral, restaurants, and central Vienna. Breakfast was excellent, it started early and was served all morning. Room was spotlessly clean, very quiet and comfortable, all staff very polite and helpful.

- The only thing that I think was missing in the room was a coffee machine or at least a kettle. That would be a great addition. - The breakfast room was small and crowded.

- Great location, right next to a major tram and underground station, so easy to reach any point in the city. Also close to many restaurants and shops. - Clean and quiet room, comfortable bed. - While the room wasn't big, the space was well-utilized and it offered almost anything I could want: a desk, a fridge, a safe, a luggage rack. - Strong A/C in the room, which was much needed during a heat wave in August with temperatures reaching 35C! - Friendly woman at reception. - Breakfast included. - I really liked the box they use for toiletries! - They sell the Vienna city card that can save you money if you plan to visit many paid attractions. - I would happily stay again.

Decor a little dated but very clean and no toaster available at breakfast.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel is in a good location and close to the underground. Bathroom facilities were excellent.

We would prefer a double bed and not two separated beds combined. The rooms are relatively small but that's not a big deal since all the rest was great!

The location of the hotel is very strategic, The tram and underground stations are right below the hotel. However, there is a great sound isolation of the windows so it was quiet. Walkable distance to the central places in Vienna and super close to the Danube river. The staff is super friendly and they offered us vegan options at the breakfast. Unlike other apartments and hotels in Vienna there is an air conditioner which was super nice in the hot days of August!!! We liked the balcony as well.

The room was excellent, super clean and comfortable. Front desk personnel was very very friendly and helpful. The hotel was perfectly secure for a solo traveller. Location was also excellent, just next to the metro and a 10-15 minutes walking distance to main attractions

We were given a room which smelled of smoke, but they quickly gave us another room.

Great Lovation, you can walk everywhere from here, tram and underground literally a few meters away. The staff were friendly welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was great.

The water in the shower got intermittently very hot and the AC was pretty loud.

Towels again! They need to be renewed more frequently, also a hotel of this standard could spend just a little more on better quality toilet paper (it's actually cost effective as you use less) but this in no way should detract from an excellent hotel as this is common to other hotels of this standard in Europe.

Modern room at the side of the hotel away from any noise from traffic. Very convenient position on Swedenplatz for trams & the River Danube & a short walk to the Old Town centre around St Stephens Platz. Excellent breakfast and afternoon tea & cake from 15.00 to 1700 hrs within the price. Very well informed & helpful staff. Viennese coffee & coffeee houses, do I need to say more.........ok, there's nothing like it anywhere else !

There wasn't anything that I didn't like. If you do want to go for cake I'd get there early as the cake goes quick. No kettle, tea or coffee in the room.

The location was amazing, right in the river and only a 5 minute walk to the shops. It was right beside the subway and the airport bus was only 5 minute walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and very comfortable. They did a free tea/coffee and cake from 3pm to 6pm which was great, there were also games to play while having yiur tea and cake. Great for a long weekend.

Everything was perfect. The location couldn’t be better. Near to the underground and tram so every place is really easy to reach. In walking distance to many touristic attractions and yet it is not in the center of tourists’ crowds at all. Perfect breakfast with excellent coffee and a huge variety of food. Very helpful staff. Spacious room. Wonderful bathroom. There is absolutely nothing that we did not like.

The staff at the reception and at breakfast are exceptionally friendly and helpful. During the hot days, the air con was perfect. The rooms are impeccably clean. The hotel is close to trams, metro, and you can reach Stefansdom by foot if you want. This was our second stay at hotel Capricorno and hopefully not the last. 😀
