Did not realize at the time of booking that the about 2500 square foot apartment is divided into three separate rentals. We got lucky because there was nobody else staying during our stay

The unit is in a great location close to transportation, stores, restaurants, some of the museums. The home is remarkably well furnished with historic pieces (all 250 years old per the owner who is a history professor) Almost like sleeping in a bedroom at Schönbrunn

Charming couple run the property, my only suggestion would be to knock when entering the room as I found it very odd to be surprised by the owner entering without any notice.

Unique property that brings a nice change from the usual hotel rooms, with its rich furnishings, paintings and books. Note that you are renting one room of three in the apartment, with the dining room and small kitchenette shared by all those staying. There are also approx 50 steps up to the floor, should that be a concern for you with luggage. Whilst it’s a little way out of the main tourist area, it’s very simple to get a tram or subway train, or approx 30 mins walk. It’s also close to the Belvedere Palace and Military Museum. The proximity to the main railway station was a real bonus if that’s how you are coming/going. The bathroom was very small (but acceptable), and the toilet was very loud (flushing).

The atmosphere of the room & the decor. Felt like a step back in time, which added to the experience. The hosts were very engaging and knowledgeable. The location is very close to public transport and Belvedere Palace.

I had a problem that hand shower did not work in the bathroom, and I couldn't figure out how to use it. The room was too hot for me, even if owners provided AC unit, the weather outside was close to 30 during the day and i didn't know how to open windows.

Room was very impressively decorated, it gave a feeling as if you sleep in the museum. The location is just next to Belvedere castle, which was very nice quarter of many embassies around. The WIFI is very safe and smooth and it works impeccably. The parking can be agreed with owners around the corner for 10 eur, which I find very good price for Vienna.

We had a beautiful room in this private flat with a gorgeous balcony looking into the inner courtyard which was perfect for a hot vienna evening. Thank you so much to the lovely couple who received us. We loved all the books too and beautiful paintings. It was a great experience.

Location 100 metres from both Schloss Belvedere and tram stop to city centre. Room was very comfortable, bathroom and bed very excellent. Had small kitchenette including a fridge. Hosts were very nice and helpful.

I would just be aware that the apartment is up a few flights of stairs if you have heavy luggage (no lift) and I couldn't get the TV to work later at night. No signal. But it may well just have been me.

The location was within walking distance of the main train station (though the hosts very kindly dropped me off with my rather heavy case) and Belvedere Palace and Gardens is right at the end of the street. There is a tram stop there too, a convenient restaurant and a hop on/hop off bus stop. The apartment was exactly what I wanted in Vienne, very much in that old fashioned style yet with everything you need. I walked into the centre and back through the gardens every day. The hosts were wonderful and I would definitely stay again.

If i am back i will book the room with bathroom inside not in the hall . Tea is complimentary, coffee is not. Not expensive but you dont have coins everytime to use the coffee machine .

Location is excellent , clean room , very well priced ! Stay was great and if i am back to Vienna i will definitely book there !

Having to leave!

Steps away from the belvedere, quiet location, walkable to grocery stores, extremely safe area, especially for single female traveller, even late at night. So well decorated so that you feel like you are truly living in the old world european style ...not cold and modern like most other hotels and other guest locations! Bed is firm ( - great for my bad back), room temperature comfortable, warm water bidet in bathroom, complimentary snacks, plenty of extra linens if necessary, tap water tastes amazing, room is very large, plenty of closet space, sofa is comfy for a nap! There is an espresso machine in the kitchen for 1 euro per cup and it is the best! The hosts were so welcoming...I will be returning back to this location when I return again in April. So grateful to have host like Herr and Madam M.!

The place was very comfortable, cozy, had great location (right next to Belvedere) and staff was very very nice and helpful.

No lift.. The only problem with suitcases, but Dr Mazakarini carried them up for me.

I chose to go out for breakfast. Located 3 mins from Belvedere. Tram stop into city centre. I preferred to walk.. 20 mins. 10 Mins to Hauptbahnhof. Extremely helpful owners. Nothing was too much for them.

We really liked this place! It has a gorgeous location near the Belvedere Castle, the territory of which you can walk around every day! Tram, metro, supermarkets and delicious cafes are just within walking distance. You can find a combination of a palace interior with modern appliances inside and, of course, the hospitality and friendliness of the owners made us very happy! We really liked this place and when we come to Vienna again, we will only stay here!

It’s like staying in a palace or museum, traveling back time!!! I loved the room! The owners are super helpful and friendly. They let me leave my luggage until after because my flight is at late afternoon. The location is great! You can walk everywhere.
