The host was so kind that I felt at ease. Personally, Obertraun left a deeper impression on me and will remain in my memory longer than Hallstatt. It's such a leisurely village! Although this trip was short, I plan to come back in the fall for a longer vacation. There's a bike rental shop nearby, so exploring every corner of the village would be great!

Loved the room and the little terrace. Room and bathroom were very clean and really nice organized overall. Bed was comfortable and I managed to get some rest without back pain. I am really particular about this :P Hostess were delightful and breakfast was delicious. Also surroundings are breathtaking. Was just one of those places where you wished you could stay longer

Bath towels were worn out and pretty rough. We used our own towels instead.

The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were very nice and friendly. It provided free parking space. Room was clean. Walking distance to the lake.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a standard Austrian breakfast, but there were lots of options. Nice rooms. Very short walk to the lake and tons of restaurants.

Amazing location. 10 minutes from Hallstatt. Wonderful staff and breakfast. The best was the scenery from our balcony and small stream running around the property. Picturesque!

The only bad thing for us was the mattress. In our opinion, it wasn't really comfortable. But other than that - everything was really great.

The hosts were very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was great! Versatile and tasteful. The room is big and comfy.

Nothing, it was a lovely stay and location with perfect hosts.

Hubert and Heidi were friendly and went above and beyond our expectations. When I arrived I explained I had lost my wallet on the bus journey there. They were very understanding and phoned a friend from the village, who worked for the bus company. The wallet was later found and returned to the Salzburg office, the friend collected it for me and dropped it off at B&B Simmer at midnight (the end of her shift). Hubert stayed up specially and returned the wallet to me at breakfast (all intact). Such acts of kindness made our holiday extra memorable. Thank you all so much.

I'm heading to Wien with good memories. During 4nights, Hubert and Heidi made me comfortable at home. The room is big and so clean for me. You can reach to Hallstatt, Dachstein, Bad Ishl, St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang. . . Also enjoy the omelets they cook for breakfast. I won't forget everything with Simmer. Danke.

Heidi and Hubert made us feel right at home. They made us breakfast with eggs their chickens had recently hatched. They were very friendly and engaging. The town of Obrertraun gave us a real Austrian feel that we wanted. We wished we had booked for more than just one night!
