Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

RussiaDue to engineering issues in the bathroom, the water from shower goes directly to the room slowly flooding it. It was a very sad surprise when I discovered a puddle of water around my bed.
The room itself had pretty stylish decorations, and there was everything needed for a comfort stay. Even a coffee machine. The bed was clean and comfortable, so I didn't even mention haw I fell asleep. The bed contained of two halves put together, and I'm not sure was it considered as a double or two singles, but I didn't feel the gap between them :)

Hotel is very clean and decoration is lean and modern. Location is great, there is a tram nearby and we walked into the city centre. Lobby is also nice and cosy. Breakfast is good value for money.

GreeceThe room was exceptionally pleasant, immaculately clean, and well-organized. It was equipped with a television, a mini-fridge, and a coffee machine. The bathroom was notably spacious and stocked with shampoo and conditioner. Additionally, the room was comfortably warm, which was particularly appreciated after a day of walking 20 kilometers around the city in the cold weather.

Everything was just perfect!! It exceeded our expectations! After a very good research we decided to stay here and it did not dissapoint!! We arrived earlier and they were able to store our luggage for free, staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and cozy and the cleaning service was provided daily (+free refill with coffee pads). It was 10 min (by car) from the city center, 35 min (by car) to the airport and there is also an excellent restaurant down the street, a few meters away from the hotel. We will definitely be staying here again when we'll come back to Vienna! We cannot recommend it more!

AustriaIt was good that there was a car park under the hotel, but there was an incredibly bad smell in the car park.
It was a very clean hotel, the rooms were very nicely furnished and the staff were very sympathetic. It was also a very quiet hotel, absolutely no noise could be heard from other rooms. The bathroom was very well furnished. I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Vienna.

Everything was great! Room was cleaned every day, breakfast was awesome with plenty of different food. Stuff was very friendly. Also, I didn’t have to think where to park the car since there is a garage in the hotel. Location is also good. I recommend this hotel!
