“The location is perfect - right in the center, close to the accommodation there’s an ATM and few places where you can have dinner:) Room was clean, the balcony view just outstanding, amazing breakfast🥰

“The accommodation was wonderful in every aspect—clean, quiet, with a beautiful view, horses just below the windows, the Salzburg Card offering many benefits, the surroundings of Lofer are amazing, and the location of the accommodation is great. The only thing that bothered us a lot, however, was the enormous number of flies. The accommodation is on a farm, so flies are understandable, and for children, it's certainly a lovely experience with cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, cows, etc. But those flies were enormous. I don't understand why they don't have net on the windows, which would solve the problem. Every evening, we spent half an hour killing flies, and at 5 in the morning, they started flying in again through the open window. It's a pity because everything else was great.”

Had no problems with the internet and used my Amazon Firestick and 'Express VPN' to watch all my usual UK channels.
Owner cleared driveway from snow as required. Also arranged for daily bread delivery.
Apart from the skiing there are some lovely walks. A pair of crampons purchased before we arrived made walking on the hard packed and icy walks very easy.
Coffee and cake in Anna's Café above 'Berger Finest Confectionery' or at 'Bakery & Cafe Volgger' in Sankt Martin was a delight not to be missed.
The walk up to Maria Kirchental Sanctuary was much harder - steep and winding all the way up for about 1 hour. Much easier on the way down. Locals do it on toboggans.”
