You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesWi Fi was sketchy, Breakfast was nothing to write home about. LIked it that they had tea and coffee in the afternoon.
This was a nice little place off the main street and in a quiet neighborhood. Rooms were fair sized, beds comfortable, bathrooms were good sized, clean, water was hot enough. There was a nice view of Fitz Roy from the dining/breakfast/lounge area. Loved the wood construction. Well maintained.

Reception was very helpful. We informed them that we'll start hiking very early in the morning and prepared some snacks for us to have a quick breakfasts before leaving (before the breakfast hours)

United KingdomThe breakfast really needs improving. Very basic. We were on the top floor near the breakfast area, the room had a very annoying noise from an outside fan or something? We also had to pay by PayPal - I was suspicious about the credit card machine not working?! I thought it was not good value.
The bed was comfortable. Location very good but in El Chaten everything is near.

United StatesThe room itself is pretty utilitarian. Clean and the beds are decent, but the room as a whole is along the lines of what you might find at a Y or hostel. Of course, that kind of fits the vibe of this backpacker's paradise in the Andes foothills.
Appealing, Alpine-esque exterior and common room, which offered a lounge and the breakfast area. The food was good and the employees were helpful and nice. The bathrooms seem to have been modernized recently and are clean and in good working order.

You visit Chalten, you pay a lot for very little. Keeping that in mind, out of three places, this was the best place where we stayed. The staff was very friendly, WiFi worked (not a given in El Chalten).
