Noise isolation between rooms - could have been better. You could hear others talking. Tight bedroom.

Good location - close to the epic hiking trails, but further from the bus station. Hospitable staff !!! For the breakfast they provided scrambled eggs (just without any vegetables) - that's a plus compared to other hosterias/lodges I have stayed throughout my trip in South Patagonia. Hair dryer was not provided in the room but you can barrow it at the reception! Good Wi-Fi. You can use their fridge, kettle and microwave.

Bathroom too small and old, could be re-done.

Staff very nice (they stayed longer to wait for us as our bus was late). The room was okay, bathroom a bit old but manageable. Breakfast really nice as well.

Didn’t have running water for one day without explanation or time it would be back on. Small bathrooms with inconsistent water pressure and temperature.

Pretty good value. Decent breakfast. Can use the fridge to store food downstairs. Microwave and hot water available for use throughout the day.

Really loved the breakfast! Best of the included breakfasts we’ve had! Room was basic, but had everything we needed. We made use of the common eating area downstairs which was nice. Good location for the start of the main trailheads. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The bathroom smelled a bit funny.

It is a basic hostel so you get what you pay for. Rooms are ok, don't expect too much but you won't be there much anyway. The bathroom is a bit small but it works, make sure to close the shower curtains properly. As the location is just one block away from the main road everything you need is close by. The staff is friendly and ready to assist you with questions. They provide a transfer service to and from the airport, it's slightly more expensive than the bus. If we would have known we'd probably use it.

The front desk staff are quite ill-informed. The woman on duty upon our evening arrival told me the Fitz Roy trailhead was 3 km away; a different woman the next morning told it was 20 km each way (rather than round trip)! If you have a roller bag (rather than a backpack), be aware that you have to walk rather far from the bus station on a fair amount of extremely uneven/rocky terrain to get to the hostel, so you need to be able to carry your luggage (or take a taxi/Uber).

The location was excellent - right next to the mountain and a few minutes walk from the trailhead for the Fitz Roy, and the view from our room was wonderful.

The cleaning could be much better, several stains on our shower curtain and also hair in the shower.

I liked the really good breakfast, which is one of the best once we had in Argentina (30 days). The staff is also very friendly.

Great breakfast that included a good portion of eggs. Staff were friendly and offered advice about where to find the National Park office. They also respected the price in ARS without a hassle over which exchange rate to use- an issue we found with a couple of properties in Argentina. Close to the Fitz Roy trailhead!
