Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SlovakiaWe had the main window from the room with a partial view of the common areas and thus also a view into the room. It could be accepted.
There was a big difference between the staff on duty. But it could have been communication in the English language, so it was normal care. Breakfast was tasty, but standard as in all of Chile. The hotel had an Alpine character and a lot of space for relaxation. Although the location was close to the center, it was a difficult climb up the hill. Ideal for those who want to keep fit.

FranceTerrible access from the street. Hilly and tricky. Room was wayyyy too hot and uncontrollable. No cold water. Only hot and hotter. So many internal stairs. Very hard on other than the very young.
Staff were helpful as I had just got out of the ER. Sunny foyer. Places to relax. Room was pleasant and had a view over the water. Breakfast was good for Argentina which is pretty poor at breakfast. But why so much stuff in non-recyclable plastics? Good WiFi.

CanadaOne really minor thing that that shouldn't detract from how great this place is and that is that the rooms are a bit small. More than good enough, but tough for a families worth of suitcases. Again, probably won't affect most people, but worth a mention.
The place is really great. The facilities are really nice, the views are great of the bay, lots of common areas to relax and enjoy the stay. The rooms are also really well equipped, even had a few things like coffee in the room which I didn't expect.

United StatesThe unpleasant man who had the late shift at Reception. Rude and disrespectful- asked if I (woman) was married. Why? He smoked outside but left the Reception door open and it filled the reading/sitting room with cigarette fumes. The parking is way up the hillside to the side of the property and there was no parking on the street to be able to enter the ground floor!

United StatesThe rooms were so hot! There was no way to adjust the temperature. Breakfast was very meh, very simple -- store-bought croissants, some fruit, not at all what I expected (eg., no eggs or other hot food). With the exception of the gentleman that checked us in, the rest of the staff who worked at the reception desk were rude and unhelpful. Communication was exacerbated by the language difference (my Spanish is not great, their English was non-existent), but even so, having someone turn their back on you when you are trying to ask a question is not great customer service.
This is a beautiful hotel, situated near the top of a hill with wonderful views of the Beagle Channel and the port. The rooms were small but clean and big enough for two people. The lobby and dining area are clearly add-ons that seem to join two structures together. The whole thing works together beautifully as a single hotel. There is no elevator from the lobby to the rooms on the higher floors, but the receptionist was kind enough to help get our bags upstairs.
