Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandThe temperature in the room was insanely high for me. The only option was to keep the window fully open over the night but of course, it let fauna come into your room... the temperature also made the humidity level very low in the room, so you could have a feeling of drying. Breakfast was worse than in other objects I visited in Patagonia with a similar "stars" rate.
Very friendly and helpful personnel. I think the facilities were quite good. I enjoyed the accommodation. The whole object is not the newest one but it has a lot of benefits and if you can go over the fact that nothing looks like brand-new it's ok! :)

CanadaInternet was almost non-existent and slow when available. The "double bed" was actually two single beds with a patchwork of sheets and blankets. It wasn't uncomfortable though. The birds just outside our window were noisy, especially early morning, but they were too cute to get mad at. The was only one double power outlet in the bedroom, located below the TV. None by the bed and one in the bathroom.
Personnel was friendly and helpful. The hot pool and sauna were pretty nice, and included in the low price of the room to boot. The coffee being self serve was to our liking, with hot milk and water to make it to our liking. This was the highlight of our breakfast though.

CanadaThere is no air conditioning or fans! Your only option is to open the window and turn on the bathroom exhaust fan to get some air, to do that you have to have the curtains open and outside they have lights that are on all night that are very bright. The carpet in the room was ancient and bumped up.
The breakfast was okay and the staff was helpful

Germanythe hotel is located on the outskirts, for people with a car no problem, otherwise a bit away from the center. At night the noisy ventilation runs -you can't turn it off(~23:00-07:30) - a lot sleep disturbing.

ChileThe moment I stepped into this hotel, I was unwittingly enrolled in a masterclass of disillusionment. I had previously phoned in to tweak my booking, assured that it would be smoother than a politician’s speech. Yet, upon arrival, I discovered that my minor amendment had somehow inflated my bill twofold, showcasing their magical ability to convert anticipation into sheer bewilderment. Navigating the hotel was like time-traveling, minus the nostalgia. The place was a museum of neglect, where each corner seemed to vie for the prestigious award of “Most Overlooked Artifact.” Cleanliness was apparently on sabbatical. The rooms were so spartan, finding a bar of soap felt like winning the lottery, but without the cash prize. The bathroom’s highlight was a bidet, which, rather than a beacon of hygiene, was a memoir of visits past. And the toilet paper? It was as if they mistook it for an exfoliation tool, a bracing reminder of their indifference to comfort or basic decency. This hotel turned a would-be forgettable stay into a memorable saga of dismay, standing tall as a beacon of how not to run a hospitality business. It’s a cautionary tale wrapped in a comedy of errors. I can’t in good conscience recommend this establishment, unless you’re researching a thesis on hospitality disasters. To everyone else, my advice is simple: look elsewhere. In a sea of choices, opting for this adventure in mediocrity isn’t just unnecessary; it’s a comedic tragedy of your own making.

United States of AmericaThis property is old and run down. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. There was a hole in my door room #107 (not the key hole) that anybody could see the inside the room. The room and shower curtains needed to be replaced 10 years ago. Did I mentioned the carpet which the color has turned to black and stains are visible. The breakfast was nothing and I mean nothing to write about!
The people working there were friendly and accommodating.
