You are sharing a common space in the morning with other guests for breakfast, so if you are a light sleeper I recommend earplugs. They worked for me and I slept great with them.

The host was fabulous, really welcoming and happy to show us round and explained well how the accommodation worked. The rooms albeit slightly narrow, have everything you need and very clever storage to put everything. The bed was phenomenal, really comfy , the bathroom was large and everything was spotless. The breakfast was fantastic, plentiful, and you don't need to worry about what time to have it (very useful when you're on an early trip), because you get everything you need the night before. The location of the place is perfect, as you are an easy walking distance from the huddle of the town and near the waterfront, whilst being in a really calm and quiet area.

Spotlessly clean, outstanding host, exceptionally responsive. There are three rooms in a garden annex to the owner’s house, with a small kitchenette area shared between the rooms. The room is small and efficient - not much spare space - but this is as expected from the photos. Breakfast was delivered to our room the previous evening - very nicely presented.

I loved the perfect location between town and Laguna Niñez (which I highly recommend). I loved how spotless, bright, and efficient everything was. Clara was an excellent hostess. She greeted me upon arrival, gave me excellent recommendations, and helped me get an early morning taxi when I departed. There is also a substantial breakfast left in your refrigerator each day, which I did not get to take advantage of because of leaving early each morning. I would love to stay at Clara’s again!

Casa Chica is an immaculate purpose-built 3-unit guesthouse behind the owner’s single family home a fee blocks off of El Calafate’s main drag. Rooms are tiny but modern, and perfect for a short stay. The hostess Clara is incredibly gracious and helpful with arranging taxis and dining reservations. Finally, it is excellent value and she gives a big discount if you pay with crisp U.S. dollars rather than by credit card.

There was nothing negative about the property. It’s a compact room but this was what we expected. It is organized in such a way to make the best use of the space.

There is absolutely nothing of importance I would complain about.

Everything! Clara and the lady who cleans the rooms are soo nice! The place looks like new and is spotless. The garden is very nice and we'll maintained, is a couple of minutes to walk into the city center and the lake front. We enjoyed our stay so much. If we ever get back to El Calafate, we will stay here.

We liked everything.

The place was a two minute walk to the main street where the restaurants are. Clara is very kind and accommodating. The rooms are spotless. The bed is extremely comfortable. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The bathroom is modern with amazing water pressure. Highly recommended!

The room/bed was a tad smaller than I expected but overall very comfortable and clean which was more important.

This property was beautiful and a short walk to both town and the waterfront park. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They provided a wonderful breakfast, helped us find laundry facilities, and Clara (who also spoke English) made our stay so enjoyable! Everything was very clean and modern and they even had private parking for our rental car!

Carla was SO communicative prior to our arrival, and absolutely wonderful once we were on site. she brought breakfast to our room the night before we left, arranged a taxi for us, mailed our postcards……I don’t think there’s anything she wouldn’t do for her guests. There is a nice, small garden right off the rooms, too.
