The best and funnest hostel I have stayed. I would go on the tour to theth if I were you. Tons of fun. Facilities are clean.

Since I am a bit allergic to cats, I would have liked to know in advance that they have a (very cute) kitten.

It's probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. As a rookie solo traveler, I felt very welcomed right from the start by the volunteers, the managers and the other guests. It's full of solo travelers, and the cultural exchange is really valuable. The beds are comfortable, and it's nice to have your own space with a curtain, plus your own locker and plug. Besides, I highly recommend the trips they organize. They're reasonably priced, led by the managers who are local, and have a great vibe.

I didn’t like two of the volunteers, one is I think Carina the other one is also brunette who welcomed me when I arrived. I was very tired from the long bus trip that I had from Budva , MNE. The moment I entered the garden, she said ‘Hi , would like to wear your flip flops?’!!! I said ‘No, why?’ She said ‘we don’t wear our shoes inside the hostel’ . I said ‘Let me sit down and relax in the garden first’. Then 2 days later , when we were back from a day trip and chancing our shoes, one of the girls who was staying there for a week ‘ oh I didn’t know that it is not allowed to wear outside shoes in the hostel!!!’ . I was really pissed off😤. Also when I ask her ‘are you working hear?’ , her answer was ‘we are volunteers’, meaning what 😤😤? Was she working or not? Is it my concern, that she volunteers? That was my first time seeing a place with volunteers and I didn’t like it.

Great location, nearby where the bus stop ( there is no bus terminal in Shkodra). Plenty of nearby supermarkets. There is a AC in the room. A nice outdoor area to socialise. Nice kitchen, plenty of fridges to store your food. The owners organise tours almost every day . I did Albanian Alps with Robert and paid 50 € which was worth every penny. I also did Canyons tour where both of the owners were present for 30 € and had really great time. Thank you so much 🙏

Breakfast was not that good, but can't complain for 2 euros. No toilet paper in the bathrooms most of the time.

Everything!! Staff is very friendly and good feelings among guests. Location is perfect. Facility is wonderful with large lockers and curtains for privacy. Everything very clean. Rules spelled out and guests comply! I would highly recommend this hostel!

Wonderful, helpful, thoughtful staff. They even called the transportation company several times to confirm pick-up location. Very nice, private dorm rooms with large lockers and curtains. Great kitchen and common areas - good vibe! Location is very close to buses and downtown. They had secure luggage storage for hikers.

Slight clogging of water in the bathroom upstairs and the bf was good but the fruit was unfortunately spoiled. No fault of the property though.

Extremely clean and very friendly staff including the owners. Lots of activities on offer if you have the time. Close to the main circle where the buses pick up and drop you.

Hostel is in city center, near the bus stop, despite this is a quite and calm place. Hostel is very clean, with really comfortable beds (it's not only my opinion - many other guests confirms it). Bathrooms are new, clean and very nice, with rain shower, (small minus for lack of clothes hanger, but still it is nicest bathroom that I've seen in Albanian hostels). Breakfast is small but good (2x small byrek, scrambled egg, boiled egg, some vegetables and fruit) with instant coffee ( espresso for small fee) or tea included in price. The staff is very nice and helpful - they speak fluent English. They organize small events, like board games or movie evenings. What I liked most was the wonderful tours organized by the hostel, at very reasonable prices. The owner deserves a lot of credit for this.

One of the best hostels I have been to. I only stopped one night but it was really comfortable. And most important things for me: - lockers are big - plugs for every bed - clean - nice environment with friendly people It's frequented by many interesting and respectful people. We stayed in the communal area a bit before going to bed chatting. Really nice. The owner helped me with parking the car. So even from that point of view it is very good.

An amazing hostel a few minutes walk from the centre of town! I was made to feel incredibly welcome from the moment I arrived. The facilities were immaculate, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hostel also provides some amazing day trip opportunities far more affordable than other places. An absolute must stay for a trip in Shkoder!

No complaints. Everything was perfect.

I've stayed in many hostels over the years; this one is among the best. The staff was courteous and polite; the common areas are well thought out and kept clean. I didn't rent a bicycle, but there were many on offer, and probably the best way to maneuver around Shkoder. The breakfast was an added bonus and was beyond expectations.

This is the best hostal I have found in Albania. Perfect location, 2mins to bus stop to Tirana and to the center. Super friendly and helpful staff. Everything spotlessly clean, also thanks to no street shoes-rule in the building. Big lockers, big and comfortable beds with power plugs at each bed. They also organize tours and transfers. If you have time, rent a bike and have a swim at the lake.
