It was very dufficult to find it by car, Google map took us to a deadend streets twice. Better to navigate to Hotel Gjirokastra, because it is very close to it.

The check out time said 12pm but we got a knock on the door at 11am requesting to vacate the room for cleaning. 11am is reasonable we just weren't ready for it. The only other thing I noticed was that the shower curtain rail was attached to the light bulb wiring which seemed a little precarious. We had no problems with it though.

The family who runs the BnB is wonderful, really friendly. We sat out on their verandah with the main host and he offered us some Raki. Their breakfast was authentic and tasty. The room was spacious and had what we needed. Location was fantastic, easy walking distance to all the main attractions and the town. Their little dog Cappuccino is hilarious and a ball of energy (although they usually keep him out of sight from guests).

This has nothing to do with the quality of the place but with the navigation towards it. Google maps does not work and points you to the wrong location. Make sure to search and navigate towards the cinema ( check foto). Behind the cinema you will find the street and the gate of the house. To park your car you can park it alongside the (steep) steet for free.

Friendly hosts. Great location and beautiful views towards to mountain and city itself. We also enjoyed a lovely Albanian breakfast. The place is authentic and we slept very well in this house.

We had the room downstairs and we were really cold but we had lots of blankets to keep us warm at night. But the temperature was OK upstairs. The bathrooms were flooded (and there weren't any separation between the shower and the toilet) , when we took a shower, maybe a shower mat could improve that.

Very well placed in the medieval city. The hosts were very nice, we needed to leave early so they gave us lots of Petulla (albanian fried dough) to compensate the second breakfast we didn't take. The albanian breakfast was really good and complete.

The location is perfect in the old town. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The little dog Cappuccino is the highlight, extremely cute and friendly. As long as you don’t expect a fancy stay, this is the perfect place.

The location is second to none. You are in the center , but far from noise and busy streets, who can be overcrowded and noisy. The welcome is really great, warm and very friendly. The Manager is very social and puts you at ease, enjoying the Albanian Hospitality. Staff very friendly and helpful, not only carry my suitcases in the famous steep streets of unique Gjirokaster, but also drove me to catch the transportation to Saranda. Room is spacious and comfy bed.

Driving up the hill can be scary, but doable.

The included breakfast was good, the view is stunning, especially when you go the 5 minutes to the castle. The turnishing was oldschool which we liked a lot.

The host was super nice and the room was very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the view and the terasse was a great place to hang out. In the morning we were very happy with the delicious breakfast and local coffee. Overall we would highly recommend this place.

Guesthouse host and his friends were up until after midnight sitting and talking very loudly near our room. Had to go out and ask them to be quiet. Also asked about a bus to Berat. He called his “cousin” who was the driver and we were told we had two seats in from reserved. Not true, no seats reserved and lucky there was two seats left.

The shower and toilet are one room, I am quite tall so it was a bit of an experience hit my head a few times as the building can be short for some parts

no place to cook or store some food, but there are a loot great places to eat around and they sell water and beer for a good price

the host ist amazing. they were super friendly and helped us with everything. the guesthouse is up the hill, so better take a taxi when you arrive at the bus station. but you are in a perfect location to explore the city because everything you want to see is up the hill. I‘d stay here again.
