The place is located in a more calm area of Sarandë, very nice. The room is all new and decorated with care. Maria and her husband are really sweet and very nice. They welcome us like friends. The food is outstanding. Every day there is a surprise in the breakfast not to mention the food we had for dinner. I strongly recommended this lovely place. Thank you

Smart family run establishment, rooms spacious with modern and clean themes, staff efficient friendly and customer focused, with eye on detail. Hosts genuine and lovely. We stayed for 7 days and lived on the hotel sun beds 20m out front of cafe. (Two rooms - party of 3). Triple room with spa and double room w private balcony - pictures are current) Breakfast included in room price and served daily home made fresh pastries, cake, bread, fruit, yoghurt, eggs and bacon. Espresso, filtered coffee, teas and juices. Afternoons spent people watching and island gazing from room balcony. Downtown sarande a short walk away for pick of bars night-life and places to eat.

Everything was PERFECT!

This is THE hotel! I’ve never had such a pleasant stay in my life. The room is great, nicely decorated, and very spacious with everything you need! The balcony to the sea has a spectacular sunset view. The shower pressure was awesome! Bed was very comfy as well! 24/7 parking is easy in the adjacent streets. Now, let me tell you about the BREAKFAST! OMG! The hotel is family owned by a couple, Mimosa Maria and Themistokli. Mimosa is a chef and makes fresh breakfast every morning with different food every day! Coffee, juice, typical pastries, eggs, bacon, sweets, cakes…The cakes, omg the cakes! I would go to bed excited for breakfast the next day. There’s also a restaurant with a lunch and dinner menu. The beach is small but great because there aren’t many people. The location is awesome, far enough from the crowds but still a walking distance by foot. Make yourself a favor and book this hotel, you will not regret it. We initially had it for 3 nights but added an extra one because of how amazing it was! I usually never leave reviews, but this place deserves EVERY compliment. Thank you Mimosa and Themis for making our stay unforgettable. Can’t wait to be back! I left feeling like I made new friends!

The beach is pebbly and quite steep (water shoes recommend) and there was some trash. Some more hooks for towels would be nice in the back room.

Maria is the sweetest host and an excellent chef. She spoiled us with a very elaborate and varied breakfast every day. The place itself is cozy and clean.

This is a beautiful small boutique hotel with its own private beach area. It’s spacious, stylish and spotlessly clean, in a quiet location but just 10 minutes away from the port and main promenade . The owners ensure your stay is special - A lovely couple who look after you like a family member going over and above . The breakfasts are plentiful and cooked to order and we also had dinner there one night which was just delicious . If in Sarande, stay at this property !

Everything was done to a high standard. Felt very luxury. Great value for money. We had the first room next to the reception desk. It was quiet, soundproof and cosy. Customer service was amazing. They were caring & considerate. We had club sandwiches here and breakfast and it was all absolutely delicious. If you are looking for a little beachside resort in sarande, YOU NEED TO COME HERE!

The GPS system of our driver led us someplace else, so it was a little difficult to find.

This is a husband and wife owned property that makes its guests feel as though they are part of the family. Their hospitality was incomparable. The comfortable room overlooking the sea with a terrace and a hot tub that was a perfect showcase for the beautiful sunset. The private beach was immediately adjacent to the hotel with towels and lounge chairs. The boardwalk in Sarandë was only 15 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast was amazing. It was without a doubt the best breakfast we’ve had anywhere. Most of the baked goods were made from scratch. The offerings featured fresh local produce, eggs, and seasonal fruit. We also ate dinner that was also of the highest quality. Our group of two couples would highly recommend Da Luz to any and all travelers. Our three day stay was a perfect ending to a fantastic 10-day trip through Albania.

I love everything about this place

We love everything about this place. It’s like home away from home. The owners were very accommodating. I have no words to describe their generosity and kindness. The place is very clean and just in front of the beach. Though the beach was not that fine, i don’t mind ‘coz their service is beyond compare. When it comes to food, Chef Maria cooks from the heart that’s why her food really tasted sooooo good. She even prepared a pan cake as my birthday cake. Soooo sweet of her❤️ Whenever we’re eating we would always pray that a lot of guests would come visit or eat at their restaurant.

One of the best boutique hotels I’ve stayed in! Ran by a lovely Greek Family, with brilliant hospitality! Rooms are much better than the pictures. We had a hot tub and beautiful views of the sea and Corfu. A great private beach and the restaurant is a true gem! Great food, generous portions, served by Maria with a smile. Would highly recommend! 10/10

Well, the location is not easy to reach because the street address does not exist in the navigation. But that day the workers worked really hard to continue the road works in the nearest street, so I believe it will be much easier for all the next guests.

The location is at the sea with private beach but to get there is sometimes chaotic becouse the streets are to narrow for so much cars and almost no parking places. The hotel is great, very clean and very friendly owners. There are some rooms with great view but we are not so lucky.

A charming place run by a family full of positive vibes. The room was spacious and comfortable and had a beautiful sea view. It was cleaned daily and had minibar, a tea and coffee machine. I liked the balcony but preferred sitting on the private beach that is just a few meters away and the mattresses for sunbeds are very comfortable. The Lady is an excellent cook, each day there was different special first course and delicious cake with home made jam. Everything was fresh and tasty. The hotel is close to the city centre but you can enjoy quietude. We were really happy to have found this place.

The owners were the kindest and the most helpful hosts. They sugested us a really amazing restaurant for dinner. The breakfast by the sea was a highlight, so delicious and made with a lot of love. We definitely recommend you to stay here.

Great stay at the hotel. Room was a good size and had a patio and hot tube with a retractable roof. Also had a great view of the sea from our ground floor room, which was a short walk to the restaurant where we had breakfast each morning. The staff were very friendly and attentive and service was great throughout. It is a lovely family run hotel and we spoke to the owners son most days who gave us recommendations about the area and booked our taxi for us to head down to Ksamil after our stay. Food was excellent, and it was very relaxing as there were not many other guests around as we stayed at the end of April which was pre-season.

This is the best hospitality I’ve experienced in Albania! The hosts were exceptional - every need catered to, some of the best breakfast specifically made to your individual requirements, stunning views and the most family-like feeling I’ve experienced in a long time! I’ll definitely be visiting Sarandë again, and staying here ONLY, Because this is now a home away from home!!

Superb!! We were a group of 7 who stayed for 3 nights and were blown away. The staff were so friendly and the place was amazing. Cant go wrong with a beach front hotel and it was just a short walk to the main part of town which wad perfect not too busy and noisy. The wife is an incredible cook and the breakfasts were a real stand out for us. Slightly different everyday and just delicious. Super generous and well run. Incredible place to stay and would 10/10 recommend to anyone going to Sarandë
