Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United Arab EmiratesSome of the reception staff need more training on how to carefully handle the guests, how to address the guests. Eg. if you call the guests by their name, Mr, Ms or Sir, Madam etc would be more nice rather than just calling the guests ‘YOU’ all the time. Also, they need to be more confident about the answers that they are giving to guests specifically for rates. Also, noisy room door which is even disturbing all nearby guests needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

SerbiaThe only slightly negative experience was when we got an incorrect information about the shuttle bus time to the Soluna Beach, which made us miss the shuttle bus and not be able to go to the beach that day. Luckily, that was our first day of vacation, so we visited Soluna later. We understand that mistakes happen, but be aware that you should trust the information on the pamphlet which they give you at check in.
We had an amazing time at the First Collection Business Bay hotel. Everything was as advertised, if not better. The room is spacious, with a comfortable bed, and anything that you could need (bathrobes, bath products, hair dryer, iron, tea kettle and coffee and so much more). Although we had the city view room, we could still see the Burj Khalifa through our window, it was just a little bit to the side. Everything is clean and in good shape, and cleaning is done daily. The pool area is great, with a Burj Khalifa view, but it is in the shade most of the day - which can be a good or bad thing, depending on the day. It was very helpful to have shuttle buses to the Jumeirah Palm and Burj Khalifa, and there were always taxis in front of the hotel ready to take you anywhere for a very reasonable price. Before booking, we saw that some people had some issues with the food, but our experience was amazing - the breakfast buffet had many different options. The offer is the same every day, but you can choose between different types of eggs, meats, cheeses, fruit, salads, pastries, cereal, dips, even some perhaps more lunch foods - even after five days I didn't manage to try everything I wanted to. Especially enjoyable are fresh cooked omelette and crepes that you can get every day. Also regarding the food, our big recommendation is to get the half board. Dinner options are even better than breakfast. Every day you could choose to visit one of three restaurants in the hotel. One of which is buffet style (and every day you have a different theme, such as BBQ, Italian Food, International Food...), and at the other two you get a menu you can choose from, including a appetizer, main course and dessert. You can visit all these restaurant without having a half board option, but you will save a lot of money this way. Especially we recommend the Aaliya Lounge, which had lovely music and was a great place to be at night.
