Poor offering at horizon club afternoon teas a few cakes and some fruit slices... Would have appreciated a few finger sandwiches or similar as is offered in other similar level hotels that we have stayed at. Mattress exceptionally hard and uncomfortable, advised at checkout we could have requested a softer option or topper and that mattress was known to be extremely firm as standard.

Beautiful location and views, room as expected was huge and luxurious with all the touches that would be expected from a hotel of this pedigree.

We were welcomed with exceptional warmth and hospitality. The staff, especially Mr. Nadir and the Moroccan team, were incredibly respectful, friendly, and always ready to assist. To our delight, we were even upgraded from a room to a luxurious suite. Their attentiveness went above and beyond—they made sure we were well taken care of, even surprising us with a delightful dessert upon our return to the suite. The hotel had everything we could possibly need; there was no need to venture outside. The swimming pool offered a breathtaking view of the beach, which was the same stunning view from our suite. We could even see the Sheikh Zayed Mosque from there. The hotel is incredibly respectable, making it the perfect destination for families and couples alike. Thanks again, Mr. Nadir—we’ll definitely be coming back for more of this amazing experience!

Buffet was a bit pricey

Was a great room with a view, and the space I had in my multi-room accommodations room was awesome! Also I enjoyed the fresh fruit and bottled water brought to my room daily. The fresh flowers were a nice addition as well.

The Shangri-La Hotel exceeded all of our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to exceptional service that was both professional and genuinely friendly. The staff truly made our stay memorable. The room was fantastic—beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. The hotel's restaurants were wonderful, offering a variety of delicious options that made dining a pleasure. One of the highlights of our stay was the Chi spa treatment, which was truly out of this world. A special thank you to Saida, and I believe the other therapist was Sakomoi both great therapist —your expertise and care made the experience unforgettable. I cannot speak highly enough about the management at this hotel. They've done an exemplary job, and it shows in every aspect of the guest experience, the hotel staff exuded excellence —from the moment you drive up to the hotel until the time you leave. The external impression of grandeur to every single member of staff including the turn down service. This hotel is truly deserving of a 7-star rating. All the staff a wonderful asset to this stupendous hotel. As someone who travels frequently for business, I can recognize when people have a genuine passion for their work, and that passion is evident at the Shangri-La. The location is fantastic, adding to the overall convenience and appeal of the hotel. We will definitely be back—I can’t stop talking about our experience, and all for the best reasons.

Damp smell from our bedroom. Horizon club lounge should be open earlier until later, I only managed to use it once in the day and once in the evening.

The hotel looks a little dated inside, the staff more than make up for any shortcomings. The only major flaw we faced was our room had a damp odour.

The beds were very hard, their was no USB charging outlets and also as a coffee drinker, only very cheap Nescafé instant coffee and powdered milk was provided in the rooms.

The property is stunningly beautiful. We had an amazing view of the grand mosque. The staff were excellent!

The valet parking hit our rent car on the side of the door. We were disappointed in that, and their lack to take any action. It wasn't extremely obvious, but enough for us to notice. Location was ok, not ideal.

The room was very roomy, and comfortable. The ambiance of the entire hotel was beautiful and lavish. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and had just about anything you could imagine.
