Some of the service was a bit slow... but it sort of chimed in with the 'oldy worldy' Lawrence of Arabia feeling, where no one is a particular rush. It would also be good if the property provided a few more buggies - it's incredibly hot during the day, and you need to wait a big chunk of time in the heat for one to arrive. A minor issue!

What an amazing find! A superbly finished hotel which mirrors the 'old' part Dubai / traditional Arab-esque architecture. All the details are really well done across the property and in the rooms, and the layout of it being spread across a replica Souk is actually quite charming. Well done to the hotel architects and planners!

The spread out nature of the hotel was a little confusing at first, but this also meant it was super quiet and uncluttered. Also there was a persistent puddle outside the entrance. None of these really made much difference to our stay.

It’s location was great and the room was spacious and cool. The bed was super large and comfortable. It was very authentic in feel and this was such a welcome change from usual hotels. The staff were super helpful.

I had difficult time with the lights in washroom- struggled with make up and selection hijab colour for my dresses due to dull yellow lights in washroom. While I understand the yellow lights compliments the theme but I would highly recommend one lamp or optional white light in dressing area. Thank you

It was so hot outside....so cold inside. Took us a bit to get the aircon not so cold. But it made sleeping under the dooner cosy! Not a complaint but all the buildings were so alike it was easy to get disorientated😁

This lovely rustic hotel was in the old town of Dubai. Staff were lovely and helpful. The bed was super comfortable. Loved that all the furnishings kept that old world charm. Getting to the sister hotel pool was easy and quick in the golf carts. Surrounded by souks and restaurants and beside the waterways. Breakfast had plenty of variety.

It’s a bate and switch on the pool which was in another building. While there were golf carts going back and forth it was not the quick dip that I was looking for

Unfortunately our access key card stopped working on 2 separate occasions during our 2 day stay and as our room was quite far from the reception it was a bit time consuming to fix. The staff were all super helpful and always did there best

They do not have a swimming pool but it says so in the listing. To access the pool you have to take a 15 min drive to another hotel. This is false information provided on the hotel details.

There were a couple of things that didn't work e.g. bedside light, TV remote control which we didn't mind too much but we expected better.

Great location right on the Dubai Creek in the middle of Al Seef Souq.

They could be more attentive in the restaurant keeping the food trays full. They also ought to put covers on the syrups & jams on the buffet or at least put them under netting. Too easily accessed by flying insects.

during the 1st day of stay the room was a bit hot even the aircon temperature is at the coldest temp.. unable to use the TV as it doesnt have sound and no movie channels..you will just use the room for sleeping.. breakfast is good but the menu is almost same everyday..

The place is combination of modern and old times especially the room and toilet..just the area alone is good for pictures..plus easy access to metro, gold souk and airport..

It is a very busy hotel so staff are always preoccupied with large tour groups, we were definitely last priority and sometimes felt like we were in the way!

Amazing location with a comfortable and cool room. Loved the balcony and shower especially, along with one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in.

I can understand it's to keep the authentic decor intact but a little more light would have been preferable in the bathroom. Specifically when you want to dress up. 😉

My daughter and I fell in love with the ambience. We stayed for 1 night. Hope to go back when weather gets cooler later in the year. 🤞Location, Old world charm of the hotel and the rooms, polite staff, good breakfast everything was good. Heritage souq and creekside location made our evening relaxed fun.

Once I flush the toilet, it takes a while for the water to fill up. The refrigerator isn't cold enough.
