Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomOur first room had a bit of a smell coming from the carpet, which was quickly addressed by the hotel team and management. They first tried to clean the carpet, but when that wasn't enough, they kindly moved us to a better room. This did mean our first day meant moving from one room to another which did waste a bit of our time. It also took a while for us to get our room key after arrival and our luggage was in the holding area which meant we were waiting for a little while before being able to use the pools.
Excellent hotel and facilities, I really appreciated the care with which Housekeeping looked after your room and cleaned it up twice a day. The entire hotel is amazing, from the smallest details like the toilets, fountains, floors to the aquarium, the beaches, the service, its all impeccable. I had hired a car which I was returning to the car company. When I arrived at the hotel, the valet team took the car, contacted the hire company who came from inside and checked the car and did all the paperwork. I was very impressed. The buffet restaurants have an insane amount of variety which we thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. My 4 year old also used the Kids club and had a fun afternoon, she wanted to go back.
