Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

QatarNo coffee machine, but it's okay since the hotel is not 5*.
A cozy hotel from the moment when you enter it. Might seem very simple when you arrive at the destination because it's situated among 2 level villas, but the hotel is perfect for its value. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and cozy, no much of a view, but who cares for one night? The greatest thing was the SPA area and the rooftop pool. Open area where you can spend your morning tanning and relaxing. Also the location is great, because it's very close to the Downtown.

United KingdomBooked a premium city room and half board. Arrived and were given a standard double room and told only b&b. Told them it's not the room I ordered and paid for, told a story of sorry your room had been smoked in and it was being fumigated but I found out that the room had been let out to other customer. Got proper room next night and half board restored but the half board situation was brought up another few times before holiday ended. Most likely a genuine mistake but stressful.none the less and you go on holiday to escape stress. Quite a rough area, at night homeless people sleep on the open ground between the two hotels, watched them do the toilet against the hotel wall. Woken at 0430 every morning by the imam singing morning prayers, loudspeakers just across from hotel on mosque like tower. Expected half board evening meal to be a buffet same as breakfast in restaurant but no it's a set menu and in a cafe. Would prefer it to have been buffet. Served turkey bacon in cafe breakfast but only cheap sausage served in restaurant. All served by the same kitchen so can't understand why it's not served in both.
Hotel is fabulous and quite new, told two years old. Staff all very nice and helpful. Roof top pool area is excellent, maybe supply a few more recliners and parasols would be my only gripe. Gym and spa area superb.

OmanI was asked to pay a cash deposit when checking on. Can’t remember the last time I was asked by a hotel to do so in Dubai and anywhere else in the world! We had to wait for the room to be checked by the hotel before our deposit was returned back. The water pressure in the toilet is very low.
The rooms size is really good as well as the toilet.

United KingdomThe food was below average. The fish and chips was too spicy for some reason. No ketchup or other condiments were provided. The Caesar salad was excessively marinated and had a pungent smell. In addition, the chicken slices within the chicken burger were very difficult to chew. Moreover, for my first meal, a glass with ice was provided for the soft drink. Interestingly, for my second meal, this was not provided. The overall quality of the food was therefore poor.
The complimentary room upgrade was a nice gesture. The room's size, arrangement, and selection of amenities and facilities all exceeded expectations.

SloveniaThis a a 5-star hotel, so my expectations were higher: - the escalator is using scan card + pick floor. Great for security but everyone has a problem with his (too short interval) - the shower handle in our room wasn't working or the mechanism to turn it on is too complex :) - the hotel supports dual morality: on the one side, we're expected to behave and dress according to Muslim standards. On the other hand, it allows perversion. Two ladies in hijab entered the pool area, removed their hijabs (dressed in really tiny bikinis), and took pictures in inappropriate poses at the pool and stairs to the pool. The staff ignored everything. Well, I find this inappropriate in the Western world, but in Dubai? - when we arrived we planned to do the room upgrade offered to us. The lady offered us the booked room and didn't seem much interested in processing the room upgrade (but yes, we got our room earlier). - our room was cold due to turned on AC - 18.2 at arrival. We requested heating/way to warm up the room, but they didn't have any heating bodies. It took us 2/3 days to warm up the room to 22 degrees. - the area outside the hotel is chaos from a third-world country. People driving the wrong way, walking on the road, plastic bags lying everywhere, all parking places full (public area), everything is dirty, uneaten food lying on the ground, throw on the sidewalk. Disgusting. So the bottom line: without the arctic room conditions and more clean area around the hotel I would rate this property 8.5 - it is worth close to 9 if you're inside only. But summing up everything, well never again.
Here is what we liked: - beds are very comfortable - the stuff is very friendly - hotel inside is very clean, spotless - massage service and pool area is beautiful - breakfast is delicious and a lot of choices for all tastes - hotel has its own parking garage, !free access and is very close to main highways
