Great resort couldn't ask for anything more.breakfast was excellent in a great setting The photos don't do it justice
Luxury, quiet, comfortable
Lovely room with a luxury feel
The Intrepid Hotel has a real feeling of luxury and is full of very special details, like sparkling water being available on tap on each floor, and the complimentarycrossants and coffee available in the lobby each morning, but isn't the standard hotel version of luxe, it's a very bespoke style with a curatorial eye for design.
My stay at the Mercure Hotel in Wellington over the Easter period was an absolute delight. The hotel's prime location allowed for easy exploration of the city, providing a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The room exceeded my expectations, offering comfort and luxury that enhanced my holiday experience. Every detail, from the tasteful decor to the attentive service, was tailored to ensure a memorable stay. It was truly a home away from home, and I couldn't have asked for more from my Easter getaway.
The helpful staff brought us to the vineyard we selected and back to the resort. Accommodation is perfect. Pleasant heat by the fireplace.
Dinner was excellent. Ate at the resort two nights. Staff assisted in obtaining space in heavily booked restaurant when we arrived late in the afternoon with limited transport options ( car flat tire). Room was large with excellent facilities, fire, spa bath, well equipped kitchen ( although we didn't need this). Resort assisted with travel about the area while our car was fixed. Extremely friendly and helpful.
The room it self was good and up to standard, no issues but we did find wine glasses were dirty lip stick stains Your restaurant for breakfast could not fault outstanding service from everyone.
The bed is so comfy. The shower is large and with a rainfall shower, makes it feel very luxury.
We were looking for a family friendly motel and Fernhill met that requirement. It doesn't pretend to be a 5 star luxury resort yet it is definitely a huge improvement on budget locations. We particularly loved the large room size.
