There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Great place close to Bardia. Wonderful staff and guides. They will arrange any kind of activity-jeep trip or walk, full day or half day. They organize it to your wishes, depending on what you hope to see. We even had a feast at a village house, with home made rice wine (fire water). Sitting around a fire, we had a great evening. I give this resort the highest recommendation possible.

Loved the fact that the focus is on the forest and wildlife, not the usual luxuries. No wifi in the room and that is really good. The food was just excellent - clean, fresh and delicious. I am vegan and the chef took special care to accommodate that constraint. The lodge manager was very courteous and helpful. The resort itself is small and one feels like one is in the middle of a forest. Its right next to the core zone so not much habitation around. Special mention of Reshmi in Sales/Reservation who was exceptional in coordinating my travel from Kathmandu including the airport pick ups and drop. I am sure i will be back here soon.

The in-house restaurant, The Resort serves multi-cuisine. Location is immediately outside Bardia national park.....you cannot get any closer. Facilities are basic but more than adequate. Hot water showers are available along with very good local food after a long day's trekking. The guides organised by hotel are exceptional. The owner is such a nice guy and the staff cannot do enough to make sure you are happy. Such good value for money. It's my 3rd time returning to bardia jungle cottage and my 7yr old's first and we will definitely be back to see more tigers and stay here. The packed lunch is perfect whilst in jungle and so well organised.
