Very clean, friendly staff, great location

Situated in Fagernes town centre, Scandic Valdres offers free WiFi and brightly decorated guest rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV. Fagernes Beach is just 50 metres from the hotel.
The in-house restaurant offers specialities from the Valdres region. Refreshing drinks can be enjoyed in the bar, the piano room or in the relaxing atmosphere of the library lounge.
The view is beautiful and there are paths to walk close by. It was a very welcoming place and the staff were very helpful. We’ve since stayed at other Scandic hotels and this is still our favorite.
Great little cottage. Plenty of sleeping space. Very warm and clean. 200 metres from the ski resort and 100 m from the supermarket.
Every service (bed linen, final cleaning) paid separately. Luxury dinner is quite expensive, but worth it. The best is breakfast. Very nice surroundings.
Resort location up in the hill is superb. They have own restaurant and their pizzas are very tasty. Preselect breakfast was very good.
This hotel is a very cosy place. It feels a bit like coming home and we were well taken care of. It is placed in the south-eastern part of Jotunheimen in the middle of all the mountains and forests. The guys running the hotel have a lot of expertise helping out with suggesting activities. There is also a larger ski-resort a short car ride away where it is easy to buy any supplies for adventures.
