It was lovely and relaxing after being in Colombo for two nights. The staff were very helpful and very welcoming, could not fault them! We tried breakfast, lunch and dinner here and again, could not fault.. very delicious!! Breakfast was especially big portion. The price is very reasonable for the service that you get, would recommend!! Close to Sigirya Rock in Tuk Tuk (10mins max)

This is a very special lodging option that stands out from the crowd. You are really in nature. When checking in, the owner showed us an elephant footprint just next to our hut. One morning we saw a hornbill on the adjacent balcony. View from the balcony to Sigiriya Rock is amazing. Room is quite spacious for us to open three suitcases at the same time. There are mosquito nets on some of the windows to keep them open during the night. We were welcomed in style with tea and palm sugar based sweet. Chena Huts was the only place where we received such welcome. Breakfast was freshly prepared and plentiful. Each room has stairs to go up to, the owner helped to bring our luggages to the room. They can also book elephant safaris, however they are conscious about conflict of interests with driver companies organizing a full tour. Make sure to clarify what is agreed and not agreed as part of your driver contract.

This place is a hidden gem in Kandy. The resort is private and quiet. The view is beautiful. We loved everything. Food/breakfast was delicious. Host and staff are wonderful and helpful. Kandy town and other tourist attractions are easily accessible by tuk-tuk. We used PickMe app which was easy. Highly recommend this place.
