Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool and a garden with BBQ facilities, Camping Village Lago Maggiore offers modern accommodation in Dormelletto. Located on the shores of Lake Maggiore, the property is a few steps from the beach and 5-minute drive from Arona. Had a excellent few days here and it was perfect for what we wanted. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and really set a positive tone to start your stay. We stayed in a mobile home which perfect for what we needed and the porch area outside was great for sitting out in the evening. The on-site restaurant served great food at reasonable prices, we used it for two events and weren’t disappointed. The two beaches that are available for use by the lake were really nice. Offered easy access to the water for a swim and was a nice area to relax. The views from the beaches were beautiful and the water really clean. 20/25 minute walk from the main train station in Dormelletto and a bus stop right outside the camp. Trains go further north up to Stresa, bus goes to Arona but can get connections from there. Supermarket next to the camp as well. Are car could be useful but we didn’t need one
Verbania

Very nice resort by the lake. The room was very clean and new. The self check in was very easy with clear instructions. There is a parking included in the room.
Absolutely dream like. The best views, the entire structure of the facility, we had never seen a resort built so well with a lot of space for each room. The staff is also very friendly and does their best to help and make your stay comfortable.
Lovely modern and spotlessly clean apartment. Lots of space and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and air conditioning worked well. Lovely views from the balcony. The host was friendly and helpful. Baveno is a beautiful little place, and you can get boats to all the neighbouring resorts and islands easily. It is a good 10 to 15 minute walk to the apartment up a hill from Baveno, but this wasn't a problem for us.
The appartment is already nice on the photo on booking.com; but in real it's way more luxury and beautifull then you expect! everything new, and very clean. enough laundry and especially: a beautifull view at the Lake!

The grand building stood tall, radiating an aura of elegance. The baroque design interiors were a sight to behold. The plush furnishings and rich fabrics exuded luxury, while the carefully preserved historical elements provided a glimpse into the past. The baroque-inspired lounge was a treasure trove of delights.The great building and baroque design interiors set the stage for a retreat, where every moment felt like a step back in time.
Luxury building, nice views and lovely swimming pool at the lake
Breakfast was basic but ok. If the resort was on the lake, the location would have been perfect.
After we finally arrived it was easy. The property is nice, and the view with the lake and the mountains was lovely. The kitchen is well equipped. Design is nice but overall all if of cheap quality. The advertisement is giving a feel of luxury and it is not the case.
The house is great for a vacation with friends or family. There is plenty of space (3 bedrooms, 2 badrooms) and the small garden is a luxury for breakfast/dinner/drinks when you want to take it easy. The small river running next to the house creates a nice ambience. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a washing machine. The old town and the beach are very close (5-10min walk) and with help of a map available we could also explore hiking trails starting nearby. The staff was helpful, easily available and always friendly.
