He took care of coordinating safaris, trains, transportation, you name it; he cared more about my happiness than his which is a very rare quality to come across these days. The hotel facilities are nice and comfortable and located close to popular zones 1-5 as well as the fort which is a worthwhile visit. I saw my tiger in zone 10 thnx to Jitendra’s last minute magic. Couldn’t be happier, thank you!!!

Cosy air-conditioned room features modern décor and warm lighting. Each is fitted with a sofa seating area and work desk. Some bathrooms have a bathtub, while others have a shower. Very helpful staff (booked train tickets for us and arranged the transport to the station). Good dinner options.

It also incorporates two original palaces and two temples within the fort. A complimentary baby cot and kids club are available for children. The hotel is a fairy tale of mahals and turrets, contemporary with Rajasthani aesthetics, my room came with Toto style heated Kohler toilets, gigantic square stone bath (I preferred the courtyard showers under a starlit sky), outdoor patio with a swing chair. I was in the east wing (room 222) overlooking the mataji ka talab lake and chauth mata temple. Of the entire hotel, I loved the zenana mahal most, and especially the Bhutanese massage in one of the 14th century rooms. Dining caters to a variety of diets, with wholesome, fresh seasonal produce largely sourced locally (including their own gardens). I am normally on a pescatarian diet but ordered their knock out laal maas two dinners in a row. My lunches were at the Rani Bagh restaurant, next to their gorgeous pool. This is my 8th Six Senses hotel and I really like the company’s forte & impact, including the rewilding projects around the hotel, showcasing the local communities’ food, craft and culture, water treatment, avoiding plastics etc. As I expected, service was superb, you can WhatsApp with your own “guest experience maker”, my GEM was Rohit Tyagi, super helpful and responsive. For excursions, Ranthambore park is only an hour away but I had zero desire to leave my surreal cocoon.

The room was very nice and spacious with a nice bathroom. All kept spotless by housekeeping. We went for half board as it is a little remote. We were not disappointed, all of the food was excellent, and well served. Super pool and lots of comfy loungers.We really felt we got value for money.

The property is beautiful, surrounded by nature and green. Deepak, the property manager, is a very friendly and professional host. He assisted us with everything (taxi booking, drop off at safari starting point, etc.) and we also had nice conversations with him during our stay. For one evening there was even some live traditional Rajasthani music that made a very nice environment in the garden.
