The modern 4-star beachfront Medora Auri Family Beach Resort, situated in Podgora town in the heart of Makarska Riviera, closest hotel to Biokovo Skywalk, features heated outdoor swimming pools, a... First of all - the hotel itself. It's an old building, but has been renovated in 2016 (or 2017), so everything you see looks and feels new. Neutral, yet stylish interiors, both around common areas and the rooms. Second - the staff and level of service. We asked for an iron and an ironing board, expecting it to arrive the following morning; instead it was brought to the room within 10 minutes. We could not figure out how to turn the aircon on (I had not realized you need to shut the balcony door for it to power on), and the maintenance guy turned up in 5 minutes. The food is amazing, wine and beer are free during dinner. The beach is lovely, apart from an annoying niggle (see below). All-in, by far the best hotel experience I have had.

Poseidon is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the seaside and the beach. Although Makaskar is a busy beach town, we felt away from the noise and crowd in our apartment. The reception and the resort staff are courteous, welcoming and helpful. They want to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We stayed in an apartment instead of a bungalow, which was perfect for us being a couple. Large bed, bathroom, spacious front terrace with table and chairs and a sunbed. Perfect to have meals alfresco. Towels are changed every four days and equipped little kitchen if you like to stay in and make your own meals. Great large private parking. We felt at home very quickly!

Kaštela'da, Gabine Plajı ve Resnik Plajı'nın yakınında yer alan Lady Di apartments, kumarhane ve ücretsiz bisikletler sunan yakın zamanda yenilenmiş bir tesistir. Everything was perfect. Small apartment but has absolutely everything you need. Super clean and only 5 minutes away from the airport. Super nice hosts. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place in that area.

Nikolina Plajı'na yaklaşık 400 metre mesafede yer alan Apartment Lana adlı şehir manzaralı tesiste bahçe, teras ve restoran bulunur. The apartment is very nicely renovated and equipped. New furniture, new kitchen appliances, large screen TV, air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher with capsules. Nice big balcony with sea view. The owner waited very kindly. There was cold mineral water and soft drinks in the fridge. Chocolates and biscuits on the dining table.

Stari Grad'da, Hotel Plajı'na 200 metre mesafede yer alan Valamar Amicor Green Resort'ta bahçe, ücretsiz özel otopark, teras ve restoran bulunur. Bu tesiste aile odaları ve açık havuz vardır. All round great experience for the whole family. The kids loved the pool, waterslides and especially the kids club. The parents loved all of it too because it meant the kids were so well entertained. Lovely staff, delicious buffet breakfast and dinner. Close enough to the town of Stari head to walk for a visit and it’s well worth it!
