Isla Mucura
Hotel Isla Mucura features a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Isla Mucura. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The accommodation provides nightclub and a kids' club. We had a wonderful trip! The property itself is stunning. The architecture, design and decor are unobtrusive, modern and tasteful - 10/10. they’ve made great use of natural materials which blend into the gorgeous island environment. We also loved the opportunity to experience some local flora and fauna - the curious resident iguanas and the beautiful parrots that occasionally and noisily flew through. We stayed in an elevated bungalow which had a comfortable bed, excellent AC, and a great patio from which we could watch the sun set. I also really appreciated the lighting — lovely fixtures and warm bulbs — as that seems to be an afterthought at most places we’ve staged in Colombia. The beach area is great, with plenty of seating via beach chairs and day beds, for all guests even when they seemed to be at capacity. We appreciated the games strewn about the garden area (cornhole, giant chess and jenga sets). Food was good - we mostly ate at the kiosk and enjoyed the fresh ceviche, empanadas and shrimp. We took advantage of the buffet mostly for breakfast, and appreciated the variety and abundance of local and not-so-local options. Also - big shout out to the staff who were all absolutely lovely and patient with the fact that we knew very little Spanish.

Isla del Pirata
The Hotel Isla Del Pirata offers you; Restaurant, Bar, Spa, recreation areas and water sports; It is located in the Corales del Rosario National Natural Park, in the insular area of Cartagena de Indias. I like how rustic it is. Wasn’t looking for an American style hotel and prefer thatched roofs, fans, open air atmosphere when in a place where that is the norm. The staff was great, took care of all my needs and were super friendly. Will always remember sitting at the edge of the ocean with a staff chatting about life. There was no rush on anything, which I appreciated after being in Bogotá and Cartagena for a couple of weeks. I left relaxed, chill and very content.

Beautiful beach and resort, with lots of animals like monkeys and pelicans. Nice for a couple of nights to enjoy the scenery.
Well-equipped resort in an out-of-the-way location. It is situated on the water with abundant beach chairs, kayaks, and paddleboards. There is a bar and large two-story restaurant with an extensive menu. The food is incredible! But you must be patient. It often took 30-45 minutes for a meal to come after ordering. But everything is prepared from scratch with fresh ingredients so it is worth waiting for. Excellent buffet breakfast included in the room price. Staff are very friendly and attentive.
A really down to earth, fun eco-hostel that was more attuned to the landscape and environment compared with some of the more garish resorts on the island. Lavi and her staff are incredibly helpful hosts. The bar/restaurant is surprisingly good, and the various activities are fun and reasonably priced! Great snorkeling close by. The private room we stayed in was not luxurious, but wonderful and overlooking the water and sunset. Would definitely come back here!
Everything. the staff were very friendly, the food was delicious, the resort was very clean. It was paradise at its best!!
We were treated like VIPs from the moment we reached the island. Excellent facilities, excellent food and the staff are some of the most friendly and helpful we have ever experienced. Absolutely love this resort.
This place was 10 out of 10. Total serenity, living in the nature, beautiful place - resort and the whole setting. Very clean sea. Estefany C, who works here, is the most amazing person - kind, helpful, positive, she made our excellent stay even better.
Fantastic beach resort. Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and dinners were nice. The bar has great vistas and on the roof there is a telescope so I got to see Saturn and its rings. Rooms have those Japanese automatic toilets which I had never experienced before.
This is not a luxury resort. It is a local experience on a property with a fantastic location, beach and waterfront, at back and front. Remember you are on an island and enjoy being immersed into local way of life and culture. Order meals early and tell them what time you want to eat, they make to order so it takes an hour.
Wonderfully comfortable and quiet all inclusive resort. Great staff and quality food.
Amazing beach resort on an island with private beach, slept in a beautiful beach hut! Plenty of activities to keep you entertained and lots of places to lie by the sea and listen to the waves. The food was tasty in the restaurant (fresh seafood platter) and bar.
