Situated in a waterfront location within Freycinet National Park, this lodge offers secluded cabins in a coastal bush setting, 2 restaurants and a bar. Buffet breakfast is included. Some cabins feature a spa bath. The hotel is beautifully located and our room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff at reception and in the din8n* room were very gracious and responsive to all our requests. Breakfast were delicious and plentiful and had lots of choices.

Situated on the beautiful East Coast, between Bicheno and St Helens, White Sands Resort is within 30 minutes' drive of both East Coast Natureworld and Bicheno Penguin Tours. The Bay of Fires, Wine Glass Bay, and Freycinet National Park are 45 minutes' drive away. We loved everything, it is so close to the beach, the staff are amazing and it has everything you would want. It is just a short drive to Bicheno where we went and seen the Bicheno Beams.

The location and views of the ocean were beautiful. The facilities at the resort (tennis court, kayaks, pool although unheated) were great. Wildlife around the property lovely. Restaurant also lovely as a one off treat given the price. Breakfast provisions for first morning were also first rate.
The bed was divinely comfortable and everything was pure luxury. No detail left unthought of! We were even upgraded to a bath room.
The ambience of the place. Lovely to stay in a house built in 1863 and tastefully renovated to retain the original features. Luxury. The bed was so comfortable, excellent mattress. The views over the city were fantastic. So easy to walk into the city without having to take the car and lovely, helpful lady on reception.

Was like a resort. Lovely clean rooms. Large comfortable dining room. Staff offered good service and were helpful and friendly. Nothing too difficult. The new owners are doing everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. And it’s working.
A stunning beach house looking over the water at Scamander. Parking on site. A 5 minute walk to the beach, and local resort for meals. Very comfortable furnishings, 2 bedroomed, 1 bathroom, separate toilet, clothes washing machine. Very comfortable, luxury beach house. Beautiful views, great location.
Great beach resort and amazing penguin show!
The grounds and buildings were beautiful. The chalet was clean, comfortable and warm. The pool and hot tub were great. Mini golf was a beautiful 18 hole course. Cute little village with lolly shop and games arcade. The restaurant was great and looked like a good menu and value for money. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and well cooked. were 2 adults and 3 kids 4-9 years old. Will definitely come and stay again, a great family resort.
The property was in a good location and sounded like a luxury resort style property. The restaurant was good. The new accommodations at the resort looked amazing and unfortunately what I booked was old and dated but it was spacious.
