Set just 500 metres from the beach, Hotel Bora Bora velipoja is 1 km from the centre of Velipoje. Built in 2011, it offers and on-site bar with a terrace and air-conditioned accommodation with a flat-screen satellite TV. The owner was so kind and helpful, the staff were nice too. I especially liked the pool and the breakfast was also good.
My couple and I we had an amazing experience in this Resort. I want to highlight the facilities of the place as well as the people that work in the restaurant, always giving you a smile and trying to make you enjoy, if it was possible, a little bit more. I would definitely recommend this area and place if someone ask me about it. 10/10
Since our arrival, the staff was super helpful, the resort has plenty of information and activities to offer, restaurant with local food, a deck with access to the lake, and also a very nice atmosphere in general. It seems it is a place for many Germans to stop by 😂 plenty of caravans with great people (at least during our stay)
We had to leave at 7am while breakfast was from 7.30am. The hotel staff prepared a really delicious breakfast package for us to make sure, that we don't miss it. A really outstanding service. Thank you!

Perfect place to stay over night if you want to visit komani Lake the next day. 5minutes by car to where you catch the ferry. The road to get there ir in terrible conditions, it is not recommend to do it during the dark hours. 1 hour for 30km. Have the possibility to eat a simple dinner. Tipical albania breakfasts. Simple place, don't expect great luxury, but overall perfectly fits the goal.
The host (Johnny) is an extraordinarily nice person who is really invested into making his guests enjoy their stay. We drank with him, laughed with him, and took a look around his small personal Farm. In the vicinity of the location there is a small bunker complex you can explore, and if you know where to look, also some beaches that are a bit more hidden and private than the big ones attached to the resorts.
