Travellers who truly “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal onsite amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas or apartments.
Love how clean and modern the hotel. Staff super friendly and the location was excellent so close to restaurants and amenities. Navy yard waterfront is steps away and is so beautiful. Short Uber ride to capital hall where all the capital attractions are. Would stay at the Thompson hotel again when I return, and would recommend to everyone! Read a lot of reviews and decided on the Thompson as it was luxury for the right price without compromising any luxury!
The staff were lovely, super friendly and personable. I had requested a quiet room and they made sure to put me in a high room away from foot traffic, and it was clear that some thought had gone into the request. The "resort fee" was a surprise and a bit steep (I find it strange that non-resorts now charge resort fees, I don't actually need Wifi, or free water, etc) but was nicely offset by the $25 dining credit they allot. Used it to have breakfast, which was fine.
Location is great and staff is very accomodating and nice.
Overall the hotel is quiet which for me is the definition of luxury and class. No guest shouting around.Great
When you book to stay at a luxury hotel the Waldorf in DC is what you expect. The facade, the lobby, the rooms... All best in class. Great room size with excellent furnishings. There isn't a single compliant I can register. In the heart of DC no better place to stay.
Hotel Zena is a trendy little hotel with a modern feel and "female power" vibe. I enjoyed the artwork throughout the property. My room had a great view of DC and the shower was in an interesting spiral enclosure. Since the resort fee they charge included a bike rental, I took advantage of it. The bed was comfortable, and the rooftop pool has great views!
Best included breakfast I’ve had at any hotel I’ve stayed at other than an all inclusive resort.
