The location and the resort was great. Very centrally located, was able to explore a lot of the island in the week we were there. Loved the pools and beach. The view from my room was amazing.
The grounds of this resort are beautiful, well maintained. The restaurant was delicious. Location to the beach was perfect. We were able to watch the sunrise from our room every morning
It was a quaint little cottage. Clean. We didn't use the kitchen much but it had all the necessities . Friendly clerk (and cat, Mango) that checked us in. It might not have all the bells and whistles like the fancy resorts but you can't beat it for the price.
Exactly what we needed. It's quaint, simple, and very convenient location. It was clean and comfortable, we didn't need all the frills of a resort. The staff is friendly and they had a very good homemade local guide in the room with lists of restaurants and things to do.
Such a lovely hideaway, the staff really pay attention to the details and are super kind. Very comfortable and relaxing. A little off the beaten track but I prefer that. Ive lived in Hawaii for years so I know an Old school Hawaiian hotel when I see one and this is it. Don’t expect a mainland resort vibe, this is the real deal. There is a pool, no beach but close to the river.
Well maintained. We stayed here many times over the past 20 years or so. Beautiful setting in Nawiliwili but not a big resort. Just at-home friendly and accomodating.
It was a casual environment, which is what we wanted. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, the swimming pools were great and the beach steps away. We had a great trip and the resort was just what we needed. We stayed for a week. We didn’t plan on leaving the resort but we did to go check out the island for the day. The resort isn’t convenient to any stores or restaurants walking distance but that is not what we intended the trip for but a fyi to others. The resort has plenty of options for food and drinks though is not all inclusive.
Great family resort. Beautiful location close to the hills. All other comments are less relevant from here as we fell in love with the overall picture.
Nice pool, basic drinks 24/7 and basic breakfast provided. Beds are OK, overall value for money. Highly recommend this one to visit the highlights of Kauai.
