We went into this seeking a cozy rental in a quiet and peaceful coastal community. This is not a fancy resort to take selfies at! The room was furnished and clean and was what we were seeking - A beachy room. The host was wonderful to work with and chat with. For a relaxing weekend with the kids it was a big win!
The location is great and the suite was huge! 1.5 baths, with a soaking tub - that was unexpected. All I as very clean.
However, they charged me $60 more than the price quoted on Booking.com with no explanations. I thought it was resort fees or such but per the bill, they charged me different rates per night than what I originally agreed and booked on this site.
Came in town to attend family member's wedding @ the Hammocks Resort. Even though the resort is gorgeous, the price for 2 days stay was not in my budget. The Hilton Grand was only 18 min away and very affordable. The staff was very nice and hospitable. The room was nice & clean and the amenities were great! I'm a Hilton Honor Member, and never disappointed with my stays.
