Family run resort. Staff absolutely friendly and helpful. Quiet location overlooking the river. The train station and market were good. 20min walk to town, but the very nice Lady at the reception got us a tuktuk. I walked, not a big issue. The train arriving from Bangkok is a big attraction. Bank and 7/11 in town.

A charming and well conceived European style hotel next to a canal, and in the middle of nowhere, on the outskirts of Samut Songkhran. Good access from the Bangkok highway.
Lots of attentive staff, some more experienced than others. We stayed in the Thai House and it was unique, with great views across the resort, and bug free.
We ate at The Canal Resteraunt twice, where the menu and food were above average and a nice ambience riverside.
We also arranged a boat trip to the Floating Market: in fact Asita is only a 15 minute drive from all the Amphawa attractions.

It was a lovely experience. Before arriving, the reception staff called to reassure me about the parking arrangements with an electric car and driver at the car park to take care of the luggage and drive to reception.
The reception staff are engaging and welcoming with knowledge about any questions. The staff also pointed out directions to the floating market, which was open for dinner as I arrived late in the afternoon. The hotel has a charming character and a historical past, with a museum and a small temple for prayer. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed with antique furniture and period fittings in the bathroom. There is a restaurant for dinner and a balcony terrace above for breakfast, both overlooking the river. It was a very pleasant stay for me and I would definitely stay again.
Travellers who truly “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal onsite amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas or apartments.
Our stay at River Coco Resort in Amphawa was nothing short of wonderful. The serene environment, combined with exceptional service and facilities, made it a perfect getaway. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff, which made us feel right at home.
The staff, their friendliness, willingness to help and their warm presence, welcoming everyone with open arms. The atmosphere of the resort, and it being a complete experience from A to Z whatever you look for. The food was very good although portions were small sometimes. The other guests were nice as well which provides opportunity for chats in the evening. Proximity of floating market, some snooker clubs, local food stands (extremely cheap and tasty food) made it for a perfect place to wind down after Bangkok.
I was there 2 times. Very nice resort, you immediately feel at home. Staff super friendly. Restaurant has a very good kitchen. Breakfast was included and very tasty.
