Very peaceful location at the lake. Great sunrises if the weather plays along. Good breakfast. Eggs, decent bread if you ask, fresh fruit and coffee. Khun Nui will even serve it on your veranda. The House is spacious and equipped with a very good aircon and a comfy bed. A salt water pool, a beautiful, well maintained garden and the lake will make your stay a memorable one. The owners speak German and Thai, some English. A few good restaurants nearby and lots of places to explore complete a wonderful holiday experience.

Chuanchom Resort, hotel in Phatthalung

Orn is very responsive and helpful. Breakfast convenient. Orn had an old motorbike we could use for free, so we looked around and visited the Botanic Gardens. So generous. The internet is fine. I did a couple of video conferences and it worked (I had my phone data just in case). It’s not the best WFH situation, but is doable. Location is amazing. Not just because it’s near the wetlands (for the unmissable 5:30am 2.5hr 900 baht sunrise boat trip. Take binoculars!), as there are other hotels that are right on the water. But it’s great because it’s on the edge of the village on stilts. The village is such a privilege to experience. We saw a lot of weaving processes, fishing/drying, and a travelling traditional show- welcomed to join and eat with the locals. Lovely to see how people really live here. We stayed 7 nights, and although that was a bit long, it allowed us to get to know the village and experience nature more. Note the room isn’t cleaned in that time, though you could probably ask. Orn likes to make sure guests are happy. Cafe The Beat Baker (near the temple) has the best coffee and cakes, but next door Le Noi Berry cafe has a nice vibe. We really liked the food at a nearby restaurant but it isn’t on Google. It’s next to Koten coffee.

The resort was a small one but it was one minute to Taled Noi boat pier to watch birds and plants at the lake. The owner of the resort was always smiling and very helpful...she arrange our boat service and served breakfast to our doorstep. She can speak English quite well. Recommended if you plan to stay a night at Taled Noi, strongly recommend you go for boat in the early morning or evening, otherwise you have to prepare for the Hot Sun for 1.5 hrs to 2 hours.

This is a very authentic place. Do not expect luxury, but a very friendly welcome, good wholesome local food, some of which is grown or fished on the property. The place is full of birds

I loved the quirkiness of the resort. Located on the lake , was super convenient when taking the boat tour early morning. The room was comfortable, enjoying sitting outside on the riverwa6 Breakfast was delicious, very local food. The coffee was from the cow down the road 😁 Everything was grown locally The owners are super helpful. Already planned to return with my family An all together perfect hotel , with a difference
