Lovely little bungalow in a quiet, secluded little resort. Best shower we’ve had so far after 3 weeks in Thailand travel around. Incredibly helpful and friendly lady running the resort. We arrived very early after an overnight bus and she let us check in straight way. she also sent a taxi to the bus station when we were leaving as we had left a bag behind by accident.

The hotel is just a 10-minute drive from Mae Sot Airport and 500 km from Bangkok. The hotel is accessible by a scheduled coach service. Recreation facilities include a swimming pool, fitness centre, massage service, 2 tennis courts, and a golf driving net. There is a restaurant serving traditional Thai cuisine in an idyllic spot directly on the banks of a lake, as well as another restaurant that also serves international food, and a lobby bar with live karaoke music.

It was excellent and it had lots of options. I also appreciated the times 6am to 10am

Very nice and quiet resort, tastfully designed and decorated in a natural style. The place is run by cheerful young people from a Thai/Myanmar community project. Small resort but great place to be!

In Booking.com we could only book the VIP room. It turned out that Irawadee Resort has only one VIP room, and that meant two rooms plus bathroom, whereas all the other rooms are single rooms. For us this was very convenient, because we could sit comfortably on the sofas and surf in the internet before going to bed. We also liked the wooden decorations in the room and throughout the hotel. This was special. We stayed two nights.
