Methven Resort is just a 5-minute walk from the heart of Methven and a 3-minute drive from Methven Golf Club. Christchurch is a 1-hour and 10-minute drive away.

All heated rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Also on offer ironing facilities and a bathroom.

Breakfast was excellent staff helpful and welcoming room and bathroom was very clean . All excellent exceeded expectations. Thank you to all!

    Complimentary breakfast, beds were comfortable, and shower was nice and hot. Owner is super friendly. I will always stay in Methven if I have a meeting in Ashburton. The price and the friendly service are what sets Methven Resort apart.

    Room is clean, comfortable and quiet. Good location. All facilities are perfect. Good breakfast. Hot pool located near this resort is nice place to enjoy good open views and relaxation.

    The receptionist, was very helpful, the room was great and very comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant connected to the resort, the food and view was fabulous.The buffet breakfast was great value for money.

    This place is ok if you have relatively low expectations, but calling it a resort is a massive overstatement. It is a basic hotel and pretty dated. Maintenance looks very DIY.

    I found the resort very comfortable.The staff were very good and my room was clean. I left my pillow in the room and the staff were very accommodating with the process of returning it to me
