This is the second time we stayed here. We like it because it is a quiet and special place for couples, especially if you love the sea and aquatic activities. The place has access to Akumal beach, a great, large and clean beach where you can swim, do snorkeling and see turtles. The hotel has excellent facilities and friendly staff, amazing rooms and privacy, and several food options.
I love the cleanliness, facilities and staff. They really worry about the guests, always providing some special details for special occasions.
Rooms are private, not noisy, perfect for an escape as a couple. It is adults only and mainly for couples.
You could stay all your stay here, without need to go outside the hotel, because there sre plenty of things to do. We enjoy aquatic activities and outdoor activities, so we also wanted to go to the Cenotes and other amazing places around this area. The hotel is quite close to several cenotes. We had rented a car and we drove to great places (Dos Ojos Is just 15 min away and Yal ku is less than 10 min). Super convenient location. There are options for taking other tours to Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, etc.
The breakfast is amazing. The best by far, and they had many options. Maybe missing lactose free yogurt and more lactose free and vegan food.
The entertainment activities are very good., especially the Rock show, which was super fun, with good quality show and music.

Staff are super friendly, really helpful. Butler service is fantastic they book you into all the restaurants and are very responsive and accomodating. Spa treatments are great and the spa is a lovely place to spend the morning. Great premium drinks on offer.

Hands down, the staff made my trip wonderful. This was just an extra night extension to a full week, and the resort is amazing! Hammocks galore! Great buffet! Great infinity pool at the Riviera Maya. Many quaint areas to hang out in the non-adult only locations too! SUPER nice staff!!
The resort is beautiful, huge, and well kept. Rooms overlooking the pool/ocean have excellent views, especially from the 4th and 5th floors. Food was very good at all restaurants and buffet. Lots to do when considering you have access to all the amenities offered through the 5 other Barcelo resorts. Beach was big and well groomed. Not much to complain about.
The resort is well laid out, the winding path through the trees and under the mangroves was one of my favorite parts! I picked this resort because it was smaller, (no golf cart needed), and it still had 5 restaurants!
We booked a room with two double beds as we are fat and he snores 😂. We were so pleased to not only get the room we requested but on the ground floor closest to the beach. The room was lovely with great air conditioning the beds and pillows were super comfy. Beach is stunning. The resort is kept immaculate.
We had a great stay. The resort was absolutely beautiful. We loved that the pathways between the amenities were tree covered with lots of cute coatis (raccoon like animals) running around. It felt very jungle-like and charming. The beach area was beautiful and very private, and they kept the beach nice and clean. The staff were super friendly and made the stay better. The food was excellent as well. They had tons of choices for food allergies/sensitivities with many types of cuisine. We will definitely come back.
The service was excellent, and the resort was very clean. The food was amazing for a all inclusive and I was really surprised by that! Room service was excellent as well!
This was our first time at an all inclusive resort and it definitely didn't disappoint. The staff were amazing, the facilities were fantastic (awesome if you're travelling with kids) and the food was delicious (and plentiful!). I'd love to return again one day and stay longer.
