This waterfront property offers beautifully appointed luxury villas, designed for maximum privacy and relaxation. Each has a beachside patio, private swimming pool, air conditioning and stunning lagoon views.

From the moment we were collected from the airport to the day we left, we were treated as special and valued guests. The villas are exceptionally well-appointed and comfortable. While they're luxurious, they still feel like "home". A difficult thing to achieve, but Aitutaki Escape has managed to do this. Thomas and his team made every effort to make our stay memorable. We are grateful for their efforts to help us - from a delicious breakfast delivered every morning, arranging a hire car , arranging lagoon tours and helping us find somewhere to eat in the evening. The private pools are a bonus, and we made good use of them - especially in the evenings. We would highly recommend Aitutaki Escape and look forward to returning one day.

Really well thought out resort. We enjoyed that every bungalow had a bike we could ride around, and water sports equipment readily available. The staff were lovely, and everything was clean & tidy. Absolutely loved our stay and wish we stayed longer!

This stay was exceptional. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and did well at remembering your name and personalising your stay. The facilities were perfect and the resort was immaculate. The food was really good and there were good salad options, which was not as common in the Cook Islands as a whole. The staff did well to keep the spirits of the resort high, which snacks, cocktail hour, free cultural dances and crab races. We had a really lovely time and would definitely stay again!

The overwater bungalows are great, as well as location and food. Ron from the reception was exceptional - a true professional and great person who makes you feel at home and well taken care of, same with service by Mere. Overall, I would have given 10 points - if it had not been for pre-arrival communication.

Everything! Tasty breakfast, beautiful view straight out to the beach, spent hours in the pool, very well equipped villa and the free scooter is an absolute bonus. I'd come back here to stay anytime, much better than a resort.

Casual Luxury is the perfect way to describe this lovely family owned resort. The food was the best we had in Aitutaki and Rarotonga. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Casual luxury is exactly what you get . Great location, great food , great service. Nothing was a problem. We spent 7 nights in a Beachfront Bungalow. Room 202 . Although all the bungalows look great and are located well it was worth the extra to be right on the beachfront. Having a beautiful breakfast included is fantastic and with either continental and / or full cooked al acarte it certainly sets you up for the day ! Don’t bother looking elsewhere, Tamanu Beach Resort is where you need to be 😊.Look forward to a return visit soon.
