The gamedrives were on time and very well maintained with frequent stops with sharing information. The Bush drink experience was als wonderful..snacks and always variety offered before hand. At the camp the food was really the best.. menu was extensive..catering for all tastes and many options all equally tasty and delicious to choose from. They included my friends also in the dinner and checked if I was in agreement. Everyone and everything went smoothly and we were so happy with our stay and experience.

Johan and Janet were excellent hosts that really went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. The organized game drives (for a reasonable additional fee) were great and we had some amazing sightings. Sipho came every evening to light a fire for us which was so needed on the winter evenings. We will definitely be back.

Jacelyn and her staff are fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I have special dietary requirements and the staff invited me into the kitchen to show them how to cook the special food I brought, I have never seen such a clean hotel kitchen in my life. Conveniently located inside the Dinokeng game reserve we were given great information on how to best enjoy what the park has to offer. Very good covid protocols.
The place is very nice and clean and comfortable. Tshepo and Blessing are really amazing hosts. They care and respect their guests and go an extra mile to make te stay comfortable.
The tents are well equipped and well Maintained. We spotted few animals passing by next to the camp. I loved everything about Thorn tree camp and will definitely do it again.
We had a warm welcome, Fanie, Bodwell and Sarah welcomed us at the gate as we entered and showed us to our room. Bodwell was always available to help when we needed him, he helped us organise a game drive with Wim. The waterhole was awesome and made us stay outside even at night to spot any sightings and we did spot a lot of game at the waterhole. The view was awesome. I will definitely go back, soon.
