The property is close enough to downtown Salem without getting all the noise and traffic sounds from everything. The aesthetic and no-contact hotel aspect is seamless. The Coach House team has done an excellent job at serving their clients without staff constantly being on site! Our room was cozy and had everything! Noise cancelling sound machine, the comfiest robes, ice bucket, complimentary snacks and coffee, umbrellas, phone chargers, hair dryer, ironing board and iron… everything! I would definitely stay again! There was a bridal party staying there and I thought that was a neat idea how they got ready because it was all so close to each other.

Location was 10/10 if you like a quaint area and a very short walk to the beach. We could see the ocean from the main bedroom. We traveled from Nashville, TN to initially see Boston (which we did), but we ended up booking here and it did not disappoint! We are already wanting to book another trip back and we would highly recommend this location if you like being outside of the city. Also- Surside Subs has the best pizza, subs and ice cream! It’s in walking distance also. The unit was on the first level which made trekking in and out easy. Parking was easy. Everything was great. Thanks so much for a wonderful first time trip to the New England area!

Devin our bartender in the Regatta tavern was thoughtful and conversational, just easy to be around. Chrissy, our waitress throughout the day was cheery, quick, attentive and provided us with the best food choices. The rooms were exactly what we had hoped for, comfy, clean and roomy enough. The location is central in the town allowing for easy access to all activities in the area.

This charming, eclectic, boutique hotel was a delight! Located just a short walk from the Rockport downtown and beaches, the location was superb. I loved all the little touches throughout, including a breakfast to go customized for me as I checked out. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating (thanks, Nick!). Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got there early and were hoping to just park and take an Uber to Salem. We lucked out and our room was ready! The location is great - close to Liberty Tree Mall and the North Shore Mall with lots of dining options. Clean and comfortable for a fraction of the price of staying in Salem in October. Quick and easy Uber ride to Salem from the hotel.
We chose to stay here while visiting the north shore beaches, just a short drive and the kids really enjoyed having the indoor water park and arcade available. having to pay $16 for basic breakfast was silly but optional. Starbucks limited menu available for the day time but they closed at 5pm.
The location was great, everything was in walking distance and the room was very nice and cozy for when we wanted to stay in. Also the completely breakfast was good as well as reminders and check inns to see if we needed anything was great.

The room was great. The room was small but ample. Gary put us in a corner room with a deck with furniture, all windows overlooking a small part of downtown. It very quiet at night. Sheets and towels were very clean, the floors, bathroom everything was clean. Nice size TV but on the side wall, so hard to watch if you're laid back in bed. Small fridge/freezer to store snacks, ice cream, leftovers for the couple of days stay. Good microwave. The access to downtown Rockport was great. I took 2 walks a day during my stay. The waterfront, beach, Bearneck village stores were all very accessible and within a 5-10 min walk. Two great coffee shops near by, both sell pastry and/or sandwiches. I ordered dinner at the Fish Shack Restaurant, less than a 5min walk -- good food. Ordered Chinese take out from Hong Kong Kitchen, less than 5 min drive in a near by neighborhood -- typical, satisfying New England Chinese food. Really nice family who runs it. If you need to run to the store, there's a Stop n Shop and Market Basket just outside of town near the rotary. Gary, the hotel manager was very nice and responsive to any questions or requests. The cleaning staff was great, too. Don't forget to leave them a good tip! I would stay here again.

what an absolute treasure of a place. Each room is gorgeous, there are fridges on the 1st and 3rd floor you can put your own items in, our room was on the 3rd floor so very convenient. Snacks are provided, and the staff are lovely. It’s smack dab in the middle of everything in Salem you could walk to any attraction, shopping or dining. housekeeping was timely? it was very quiet, we loved it!
Dated but well maintained and equipped. Small bathroom. The prize is the view and location right on the beach. If you have a beach-loving dog, it will be in heaven. Dogs are allowed from September 16 until June. Good restaurants nearby and a sub, pizza and great ice cream place within walking distance. No elevator so keep that in mind when reserving. Great, protected beach for swimming on one end, wave action on the other.
Our stay was exceptional! Suzanne from reception was so kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay! The complimentary breakfast was delicious and one of the best we've ever had. Will absolutely be back!
