Located on Kezar Lake, this lakefront accommodation in North Sutton, New Hampshire provides kayaking, canoeing, boating, bird watching, and other outdoor activities. The location on the lake was idyllic with the owner providing canoes and paddleboats to get on the water, aswell as loungers at the waters edge. Although initially apprehensive about the strict short "breakfast is served from 8 to 9" policy, we ended up actually enjoying the fact that all guests were seated together around large tables at the same time such that everyone ended up talking and interacting together - a real get away from constant "phone and tablet silence". Breakfast interaction meant guests knew each other in the evenings and chatted in the lovely communal living rooms, aided by bowls of popcorn appearing if people were around.

Situated within 27 km of Lake Sunapee Golf Course and 44 km of Mount Ascutney, Brook Road Inn features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Goshen. For the price this place is excellent, it's a great value of your looking for a very clean nice place to stay. The room was super clean and we were very comfortable. Only negative is the bathroom in our room was very small and using the toilet is pretty uncomfortable but for what we paid in comparison to other places in the area it's obviously factored into the cost and is fairly priced. Overall we enjoyed the experience and as a place to overnight and get back on the road it was perfect. We booked late at night, arrived and called the number and they texted us the door code, wifi details etc... And it was super easy. Although we didn't have time to enjoy it the common space downstairs was really nice and well equipped. If we are ever passing through again we will definitely stay here in the future.
