Yuan Su B&B was one of the best accommodations that we had during our one-month journey by car throughout Taiwan. Our host was impeccable with attention to our needs and questions. She worked very hard to make sure that our stay at Sun Moon Lake was memorable. Moreover, the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet; each day, the breakfast was tasty and nutritious; and there was parking for our car at the rear of the building. We found Yuan Su B&B to be well located in Yuchi, close to restaurants and snack stalls.

The room was very good comfortable beds The view from the room was very nice, the staff were very helpful and friendly. It is located a 10-15 min bus ride from Sun Moon Lake and the staff can organise transport to the bus stop so you can get the bus to Sun Moon Lake. Its maybe a 5-10 min walk into Yuchi not many shops etc around the hotel The hotel feels new and modern. It seems to cater to the bus tour groups. Breakfast ..... not many western options (none) and some of the locals didn't seemed overly impressed

Comfortable bed. Large Shower. Location being right on the main street thru town. View of Sun Moon Lake and departing boats. Upon arrival with your own car a staff member tells you to follow him on his scooter to guide you to a vacant lot parking area about 2 blocks from the hotel. He then offers you a ride back to the hotel on the back of his scooter. Awesome! Best location of any hotel in this town. Make sure you start looking for places to eat no later than 6 pm; everything will be closed except the 7/11 by 8 pm.

This part of Sun Moon Lake is not where most tourists stay, but i like the quieter environment. The hotel is near the shopping and eating street although there are not many shops like in more touristy places. The room overlooks the lake. There is a walkway by the lake just in front of the hotel, and we saw the sunset from there. There are restaurants nearby serving tribal dishes. The hotel staff were helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was quite nice with healthy vegetables and the bamboo rice was delicious!

The host was super sweet, she helped me with informations what I could do at the lake and where to get bikes, she also recommended me an app to see when the busses leave where which helped me not only at the sun moon lake but in Taiwan in general The check in was super easy and I could even store my luggage at the reception so I could explore a bit before the check in It was clean and the bed was comfortable They also had a good breakfast and water dispensers, so I could just fill up my water bottle

The hotel is very well located, Ita Thao and the whole Sun moon lake area is stunningly beautiful. The room is extraordinarily spacious, very clean and well equipped. The bathroom is also big, with a spacious shower. We felt very comfortable. Breakfast is included - you get a bento box plus whatever you choose from the buffet. And the service is excellent. The host was especially lovely, attentive and helpful. If we ever come back to Sun moon lake we will definitely stay at Tai Hu Hotel again.

Very good hotel, big room and the bed is comfort. Location is good, walk few minute can reach the jetty and many restaurant nearby. Owner very good to allow we check in early which before 3pm as we carry many luggage and with a baby as well. Can buy the boat ticket from owner, she even discount for us. We take the 30% discount voucher from owner to rent the bicycle from the shop which just next to our hotel. Cycling in sun moon lake is a must!

The male staff (Mr. Zhuang) was very friendly and helpful. He helped us with info and booking of trips. The breakfast spread (see note below) was reasonable and is included in the room price. This B&B is not near the Sun Moon lake but is reachable within 10 mins by car. The decoration of the compound was pleasant and good for photo taking. Our room has a nice view of the tea plantation and trees.

The staff at this hotel are amazing. Our hostess gave us great advice for visiting the main attractions and Wayne, our host, must be an institution at Sun Moon lake as every morning he takes guests to a beautiful short cycling tour. We truly appreciated their commitment and the guidance they provided. Breakfast was authentic and good. The central location was easy to find and easy to reach.

We loved the garden with activities for the kids. The breakfast was really good, a great mix between foreign and Taiwanese food. We liked the big room with the balcony and the view over the palm trees and mountains behind. Its very close to Sun Moon lake and only 25min from the rainbow bridge. The hosts was super friendly and helpful. We will be back another time.

Surprise find while looking for a place to stay during my time in Sun Moon Lake and Waterhotel did not disappoint. Amenities were obviously new and the place was exceptionally clean. Breakfast set that was provided during my stay here was delicious too. Staying at Waterhotel made my time in Sun Moon Lake even more memorable. Highly recommended.

Perfect location. 3 minutes of walk to the bus station to take the bus back to Taipei (or the arrival station of the bus from Alishan). The Sun Moon Lake is right outside the hotel's restaurant. Good selection of breakfast but mostly Chinese style. The room is quite small, but understandable. The staff can speak English.

Our room at H& 日月潭水漾 l 伊達邵老街 l 湖景 was comfortable, the breakfast bar had delicious offerings, and the hotel's location on the shore of Sun Moon Lake and within easy walking distance of a wonderful night market with foods and goods related to the local Tsou aboriginal group was a bonus.

It's location is close to the station of Sun Moon Lake cable car. In addition, there is a walk way along the lake to the pier and market with walking distance. The breakfast is quite nice for hostel, delicious vegetables, pumpkin and cabbage especially.

Great location. 2-3 minutes walk from sun moon lake bus station. Hotel was entirely renovated during Covid . Hotel and room is clean and have the most amazing view . Family owned hotel - family were extremely friendly . Breakfast was good too

The room is very spacious, clean, nice, and quiet. The design is very homey and comforting. Not far from the hotel, the Sun moon Lake Restaurant serves amazing food. The hotel staffs were very helpful and cooked us good homey breakfast.

Awesome! Great view of the Sun Moon Lake from balcony. Very clean, looks newly furbished. There is a tatami living room. Very convenient location. Cycling track, walking trials, large 7-11 shop and eateries along 20 minutes walk.

The room is super big!!! I love that so much. The room comes with big bed and sofa where you can lay down to chill. The window in the room I got face to Sun Moon Lake which partially block by some buildings but its still good.

Our stay at Sun Moon Lake was amazing - we loved how clean and nice the hotel was and the owner, his partner and their staff were awesome. They truely went above and beyond for our stay and we had such a great time.

overall experience was good, staff are helpful, from zita Thou bus station, it’s a short walk to the hostel. nearby street food are quite lovely and you can easily walk to the Sun Moon Lake whenever you want.
