The staff was very friendly and helpful. We asked them how much things usually cost in dakar and how to travel around Senegal and they gave us nice infos. It is right at a very lively beach, people do sports in the morning and evening, it was very chill. The pirogue to ile de ngor departs from there and is a lovely day trip to enjoy the beaches there. Also downtown Dakar you can reach easily by Taxi (Plateau etc), but you have to negociate with the taxi drivers, it should not cost more then 5000 cfa.

The location at the beach is great, the boats to Ngor island depart the whole day at the beach in front of the hotel. If you want to see Dakar but want to avoid the busy city center, this is the perfect place. Rooms were very clean and recently renovated, brand-new airconditioning and daily housekeeping. Staff was friendly. We had a room upstairs (not next to the pool and dive shop) and we didn't experience any noise disturbances.

The staff led by Mr Dia was welcoming and very professional. The apartment was spotless with hot water, very comfortable beds, a modern kitchen and all the amenities of modern day accommodation. The location is central with banking, super markets and beaches nearby - within walking distance should one wish to walk and enjoy the sights of Dakar. Bravo Marina Appart Hôtel ! It's a beautiful island. Stuff very nice. Hotel very clean. If you are going to Dakar, don't. Go to Gorée Island. It's the oasis of peace. You will not relax in Dakar. We were so glad, we stayed with Maison Augustin. Thanks guys. O. One more thing. If you decide to stay there, you have to try some fish from the owners restaurant. THEY CAN DO FISH. Honestly. The best fish in my life. Beautiful.

An absolute sanctuary in the middle of Dakar! I had room no 3 and it was super spacious with its own balcony. Mosquito net of course! Really comfy bed. Loved loved loved the soap, somehow it was the reason why I didn’t get mosquito bites Extraordinary breakfast! Tasteful design throughout the hotel! The hotel is small so they know you fast which is nice! Laundry is cheap compared to other 4* hotels

I love the proximity of the hotel with almost everything (restaurants, banks, shops, and embassies!). The staff were amazing. They always ensured that I was safe considering the current political tension in Senegal. I also loved their airport shuttle. The drivers are so amazing and friendly! I would definitely recommend Café de Rome to anyone going to Dakar. You won't regret it

Nene was marvelous. Very attentive and available to help. Make the stay in Dakar easier and very pleasant. The communication was clear, friendly and rapid. The appatment is great! Rooms are very clean and confortable, big living room and the terrace is a plus! The apartment is well localized, few minutes walking from main street with several shops. Also very close to the beach.

very nice and comfortable place. would recommend to all travelers on a short stay in Dakar. Jado and his family (who live in the apartment as well) are very courteous and accomodating. There is no issue or problem faced due to sharing the place with them. They keep the place clean and noise free. The area is also quiet. would stay there again in the future.

The Waypoint suite is a great little business hotel located in a safe neighborhood of Dakar, near shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean. The best part are the staff - they are attentive to your every need and are always available to help. They provide restaurant recommendations and help secure good value car rentals.

This is a great place as an alternative to a hotel. Nice local vibe. The doorman and proprietor are very kind and welcoming. I don’t speak French, but they did their best to be friendly, helpful and communicative. I recommend this place for anyone who wants to be immersed in the center of Dakar. Great air conditioning. Good security.

The Airport transfer and assistance from the driver Kader was excellent. This was a last minute booking to obtain a Liberia visa and my goal was met. The hotel is an oasis in a rather scruffy exurb "convenient" to the distant airport and various parts of Dakar. Better for business and budget than for "leisure".

Everything! The food was amazing, the staff was the friendliest i ever met, the entire staff knew me by name. The hotel was located near many beautiful area on the northern Dakar coast. I will actually miss the staffs sunny disposition and all arround amazing Senegalese hospitality. Looking forward to come back again soon.

Fantastic location, perfect well appointed apartment and amazing host Rima. If you are looking for a place that is in central Dakar you cannot do better, both in terms of the apartment and value for money. I would recommend this both for frequent business travelers to Dakar and tourists who want to experience the city.

Good hotel, nice setting right on the ocean. There is a small beach area that's walkable. The restaurant is very good, maybe a little expensive for Senegal. Recommend for exploring Dakar for a couple of nights. Staff very friendly and plenty spoke English (as I don't speak french)

By far the best Hotel in Dakar. I´ve been one week before in Radisson and this one is best, because the exterior areas are much better, The pool is much bigger and it has a nice private beach, all of it very close from each other. The natural juiices at breackfast are excelent!

The hotel is located in the only neighbourhood you’d want to stay in while in Dakar. A very quiet location, a stone’s throw from the beach and some good restaurants and cafes. The hotel sports a fantastic lush and tropical inner courtyard with a swimming pool.

What an oasis inside the crazy city of dakar, you enter the main gate and you think youre in the middle of rain forest. The pool area with the resturant is seperate from the rooms area, so you dont here noises. Food is great ( little expensive in Senegal).

A beautiful space with amazing artwork. The restaurant was some of the nicest food I've had in Senegal. The owner and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Can't recommend enough! Will be back if I am in Dakar!

Clean rooms, warm shower, excellent breakfast (particularly the hibiscus jam and juice), welcoming staff and attentive service. Hotel L'Adresse is a great place to base yourself for business or pleasure in Dakar.

The situation of the Hotel, along the sea, facing the Gorée island. the place is quiet, always windy and this is appreciable when Dakar is hot. The unique swimming pool (50 m). The sea front restaurant and its menu.
