The location is fantastic and there are marked trails to monasteries and the gorge. With a bit of luck you see griffons flying. The accommodation is comfortable and offers good views. There is a swimming pool to relax the feet after a hike.

Location is on the meeting of two rivers so there is a lot to see. Hotel has a great restaurant next to the river, superb kitchen, garage for the cars, little supermarket next to the restaurant. Great staff. Room was clean, has a small balcony, AC, TV with local programs.

    Nova Varos is small city close to the mountain Zlatar, It's good location if you want to meet Serbian West part , and If you nature lower Nova Varos can be nice start point for your trip. Maybe better find some accomodation directly on some house or cabin on Zlatar. Place what I suggest to visit is Uvac, Zlatar mountain there is few hiking trails, Spotnica Waterfalls,

    We saw around 30 rare species vultures flying over the viewpoints and across the river, so you can imagine what a sight it was! Had we stayed more, we would have gone fishing for sure as plenty of fish could be seen right from a pedestrian bridge nearby

    The city in itself is not that interesting, but you can eat very well, El Pradino is advised. The surroundings are beautiful, so if you love hiking and are not afraid of bears you will have a great time.

    I used it twice as a stop over for my trip to Adriatic coast...

    I used it twice as a stop over for my trip to Adriatic coast. For that is well eqiped. You can find any supply you my need or forgot. its very close to famous turist spots like \zlatar or Zlatibor. It wouln't be my holiday destination per se.

    It was a nice experience especially with the locals who are extremely helpful and hospitable. The city itself is located in a valley which is typical for the towns in this regions surrounded with the nearby mountains such as Zlatar (only 2km far away) which is worth visiting for a long walks and stunning views. I would highly recommend a visit to a canyon of Uvac river as a daily excursion, then etno selo Vraneša for a delicious food and enjoying a nature or attending a swimming pool and also restaurant Sidro for fish specialties.
