Catlins Retreat B & B is situated in Owaka. Featuring garden and quiet street views, this guest house also includes free WiFi. The home is warm and welcoming, with many amenities to support a comfortable stay: from extra heaters and blankets to plentiful mugs and dishes for tea or breakfast. The room is also spacious. Finally the host was available and helpful throughout our stay. We could walk to dinner in Owaka, which was an added bonus.

It was so nice to have the bread available in the freezer--expecially since there are very limited places to eat in that location. It was spectacularly beautiful and very comfortable

Set in Glenomaru in the Otago region, Lawfield features a balcony and garden views. The property has inner courtyard views. This little cottage has everything you need for a short stay. Especially the view is fantastic. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place. There are a lot of things to do in the vicinity. You should walk out to Nugget Point for the fantastic scenery

Briefly met Mike and Jenny and they were lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely stay again if in the area and would highly recommend.

Seascape Accommodation has 3 modern apartments, all fitted with quality furnishings, free WiFi, a Smart TV and views across the ocean to the Nugget Point Lighthouse. The view, ocean front location, and value for the money can't be beat! The room has a couch facing the wall-to-wall sliding glass door/windows which look out to the Kaka Point beach. Communication with the owner was great. The room had a separate living area/kitchenette and bedroom. They left chocolates for us on arrival which was nice.

The view was lovely, the chairs and bed were very comfortable and it was great to soak in the spa by candlelight after our days exploring all the wonderful places the Catlins has to offer. The Point Cafe and Bar is a short walk away. We enjoyed a meal there on our first night and had their take out blue cod and chips on the second night - the best we’ve had in New Zealand! We have already recommended KP Spa to family and friends and would stay here again without hesitation.

Great location while passing through to the Catlins. Walking distance to dinner at The Point bar and Cafe that offered delicious meals. Beautiful views of the sea and Nugget Point. Warm and cosy and loved the breaky options in the Apartment ohhh and the option to watch Netflix on a overcast evening.

Amazing location and views provided a great base for exploring all of the Catlins. A reasonable price for this type of motel accommodation in the area. Well set up for self catering with electric frypan, microwave and hot plate. Beds were comfortable and the unit was very clean and well presented.

Large comfortable room with ensuite. Located in the heart of the Catlins and walking distance to hotel and Lumber Jacks restaurant.. Jill was a very informative host.

Excellent facilities, great communal kitchen and games room, spacious bedrooms and incredible beach front location.
What an absolutely beautiful setting. The house is nestled in the fields and lots of curious sheep to watch over you. We loved it, we had everything that you would expect with so much old world charm.
Everything was perfect. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, including breakfast foods. The location couldn't be better - a five minute walk to the beach and an easy drive to surrounding attractions. It was so quiet and private.
The room was exceptional. It was clean. There were good kitchen supplies. The heat worked well to break the morning chill.
Gaynor is the loveliest hostess, kind and accommodating. The room itself is spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed. Highly recommend!
A warm, clean and cozy cottage, in an absolutely beautiful and tranquil setting! A warm and helpful reception - and a quiet and private venue... :) I would highly recommend it to anyone!
Everything about this place is perfect including the couple that owns the place!
