Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. A unique, 'out of the box' experience. The hotel is a living museum, with antique paraphernalia and curios everywhere. The furniture in the rooms is amazing. Feels like you have stepped back in time to the 1800s. Lester and Sam were excellent as hosts. Meals were great quality and value. The bar (available to in-house guests only) offered beer and wine at reasonable prices. There's not too much accommodation in the Otira / Arthur's Pass area with dining and bar facilities, so the Stagecoach Hotel fills a valuable niche.

Boasting stunning views of mountains, river and the valley, Bealey Hotel is within a 30-minute drive of 5 ski fields. It offers a restaurant, barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. The view was spectacular and the room was wonderful. I loved how the bathroom was so separate from the bedroom so middle night visits didn’t wake each other up.

I was really impressed with our stay! Comfy, clean, quiet, tea coffee provided, water pressure to die for! Host was friendly as. The view of the snowy mountains from the window were also amazing

Situated in Lincoln, within 19 km of Christchurch Railway Station and 21 km of Christchurch Art Gallery, The Famous Grouse Hotel features accommodation with a restaurant and a bar, and free WiFi... Everyone was friendly and good to be around. My room was perfect for just me. The only thing that I had a "problem" with was carryiny my suitcase up the stairs.

Chester Oaks B&B has pool views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in West Melton, 15 km from Orana Wildlife Park. Jasmine made our stay as comfortable as we were home! The house was spotless clean. She was super friendly and such an excellent cook! We ordered dinner and breakfast, she provided us with so much food and it was delicious! Wish we could book a couple more nights but her facility was so popular and we didn’t get in. Well, until next time!
