Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is situated in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. A unique, 'out of the box' experience. The hotel is a living museum, with antique paraphernalia and curios everywhere. The furniture in the rooms is amazing. Feels like you have stepped back in time to the 1800s. Lester and Sam were excellent as hosts. Meals were great quality and value. The bar (available to in-house guests only) offered beer and wine at reasonable prices. There's not too much accommodation in the Otira / Arthur's Pass area with dining and bar facilities, so the Stagecoach Hotel fills a valuable niche.

Tucked nicely away but only 2 minutes from the main road. great attention to detail and excellent comms. loved the underfloor hearings in the bathroom!

Great friendly host. Immediately made you feel welcomed. Apartment was well insulated and kept us warm all night through a really cold night. Got a fantastic toilet with a nice bath!

Set in Arthur's Pass and only 11 km from Arthur's Pass National Park, The Loft at Bealey offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing hosts, super friendly and helpful. Bealey is a great location anytime of the year. We went up on a rainy weekend and it was so relaxing and the view out the window of the mountains is nice. The Bealey hotel is just across the road and Arthurs Pass village is a 10 min drive away.

We were upgraded to an apartment. It was so spacious and luxurious. Thanks so much for that. We had been traveling for several weeks so it was a pleasant surprise to have bigger space.
